Last year’s big winners are back at the 2021 Golden Globes!

Renee Zellweger, Joaquin Phoenix, and Awkwafina all took to the stage to present awards during the ceremony held at The Beverly Hilton on Sunday (February 28) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

At last year’s ceremony, Renee won the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in Judy, Joaquin won the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in Joker, and Awkwafina won the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical for her role in The Farewell.

Other stars presenting awards at this year’s awards show included Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryce Dallas Howard.

The 62-year-old Halloween actress revealed she accidentally put popcorn into her ear instead of her Apple AirPod.

“So I’m definitely over this whole isolation thing. I picked up my ear pod and put it in my ear and was trying to figure out why I couldn’t hear. 🍿,” she captioned a photo of herself with popcorn in her ear.

It was recently revealed that the star will join Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart in the movie Borderlands, which is set in the distant future when four “vault hunters” travel to the distant planet Pandora to hunt down an alien vault rumored to contain advanced technology. Find out more!

Jamie Lee Curtis is the latest actor attached to star in Borderlands.

The 62-year-old actress will join Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart in the movie, which is set in the distant future when four “vault hunters” travel to the distant planet Pandora to hunt down an alien vault rumored to contain advanced technology.

Jamie Lee is set to play Tannis, an archeologist on Pandora who might have the key to finding the vault, but whose complicated history with Lilith (Blanchett) isn’t going to help.

Borderlands is based on the popular video game of the same name, which has more than 66 million units sold-in worldwide and “Borderlands 2,” is the highest-selling title in the history of 2K.

It’s a big day for Jamie Lee Curtis!

The 62-year-old Halloween actress took to her Instagram on Friday (December 18) to celebrate her 36th wedding anniversary with husband Christopher Guest.

“One of the longest relationships I’ve had seeking comfort and contact and connection is with Chris,” Jamie wrote along with a throwback photo of the couple. “Today marks the 36th anniversary of our wedding. My hand in his. Then and now.”

“Connected through our children and family and friends it became the links in our human emotional chain that have seen each of us through triumph and tragedy,” Jamie concluded her post.

Jamie and Chris married in 1984 and share two kids – Annie, 34, and Thomas, 24.

Jamie Lee Curtis helped give a wonderful gift to a fan.

While appearing on The Talk, the 61-year-old actress revealed that a terminally-ill fan in Charleston, South Carolina was able to get an early screening of the new Halloween Kills movie.

“They said that a young man that works [at the Terrace Theatre], Anthony Woodle, was diagnosed with cancer and didn’t have long to live,” Jamie explained.

“So David [Gordon Green, Halloween producer] showed him a movie that no one in the world has seen,” Jamie shared. “He showed Anthony and his fiancée, Emily, the chance to see the Halloween movie which I thought was a beautiful gesture and I simply followed it up by calling Anthony and started having a conversation to say, I could tell him any secrets.”

Halloween Kills was originally supposed to hit theaters this year, but because of the ongoing pandemic, the release has been pushed backed to October 2021.

And that’s not all Jamie had to offer.

“And it turned out that I also offered to marry him, because I am an officiant and it turned out that his wedding wasn’t going to be able to happen because he was so near death,” Jamie said, getting emotional.

“It was a privilege,” Jamie added. “He was the greatest Halloween fan in the world, and I know a lot of them.”

“She is my biggest cheerleader…” Ana shared of Jamie. “I showed her my screen test for Marilyn and of course I had on like a random wig they found which didn’t fit me, so-so make up and so-so wardrobe but even then, seeing me in the part like that, she got very excited.”

Ana added about her role as the iconic late actress and model, “I’m not going to let anybody or anything tell me I cannot dream of playing Marilyn Monroe… Things need to change [in the industry] but you have to actively push for change too… you have to present your version of the character in a different way. You have to challenge.”
