The Crown's Matt Smith & Vanessa Kirby Kick Off Emmys Weekend at Audi Party

The actors were joined at the event by their The Crown co-star Jared Harris. The show is up for Outstanding Drama Series this weekend!

Westworld‘s Tessa Thompson was seen hanging out with Sleepy Hollow actress Janina Gavankar and So You Think You Can Dance‘s Cat Deeley joined her husband Patrick Kielty at the event.

Some other stars in attendance included Transparent‘s Kathryn Hahn, The Big Bang Theory‘s Kunal Nayyar, American GodsRicky Whittle, and The Walking Dead‘s Tom Payne.

Jared Harris to Star in 'Chernobyl' Miniseries on HBO

Jared Harris will be starring in HBO’s upcoming new drama miniseries following the accident at Chernobyl!

The 55-year-old former Mad Men star will be starring in the upcoming five-part miniseries titled Chernobyl as a scientist who has been hired to investigate the accident, the network announced at the TCA summer press tour.

Chernobyl will take a look at the “scientists and others who sacrificed to spare the world from a broader disaster in April 1986 when a reactor exploded at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in the Ukraine,” Variety reports.

Chernobyl
will begin production in Lithuania early next year.

Jared Harris Opens Up About Playing Dumbledore in 'Fantastic Beasts'

Jared Harris, whose late father Richard played Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films, is opening up about the possibility of taking on the same role in upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films!

After it was recently confirmed that Dumbledore will be making an appearance in the flicks, rumors began to swirl that Jared was in talks to play the younger version of his father’s character.

“They’re obviously thinking about it. I haven’t heard anything and I don’t expect to. It’s not up to me,” Jared told The Evening Standard.

He added, “Having seen [fan campaigns] before I find that [film bosses] don’t like to have their hands forced. These campaigns almost always go in a different direction.”

We’re still keeping our fingers crossed that Jared will take on the role!

Charlize Theron & Sean Penn's Movie 'The Last Face' Gets First Trailer - Watch Now!

When Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were still a couple, they made a movie together called The Last Face and now there is a trailer!

Sean directed the film and it also stars Javier Bardem, Adele Exarchopoulos, Jared Harris, and Jean Reno.

The Last Face centers around a love affair between Dr. Miguel Leon (Bardem), a relief-aid doctor, and Dr. Wren Petersen (Theron), the director of an international aid organization. Set against the devastating backdrop of war-torn Liberia, Miguel and Wren must find a way to keep their relationship alive in extraordinarily difficult conditions battling their mutual passion for the value of life matched by the intensity of their diametrically opposed opinions on how best to solve the conflict that surrounds them.

The movie is set to be released in France in January 2017, but it does not have a release date for the U.S. currently.

Claire Foy and Matt Smith stylishly arrive at the premiere of their upcoming Netflix show The Crown on Tuesday night (November 1) at Odeon Leicester Square in London, England.

The actors were joined by co-stars Jared Harris and Vanessa Kirby as well as Gillian Anderson at the premiere.

The show follows the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding in 1947 to the present day. The show is expected to consist of 60 episodes over six seasons.

Elizabeth Debicki shows off her villainous side while speaking to a restrained Henry Cavill in the new trailer for their film The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

The film is set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War and centers on CIA agent Napoleon Solo (Cavill) and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer). Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.

Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, and Jared Harris also star in the new film, set to hit theaters on August 14.
