'Supernatural's Final Episodes Finally Get A Premiere Date on The CW

The CW has announced just went the final episodes of Supernatural will premiere.

The network made an announcement today about the fate of the final seven episodes of the long-running series, which stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.

Supernatural, which was halted in production because of the pandemic, will return on Thursday, October 8th.

On top of that announcement, The CW also revealed more fall premiere dates that are coming up in the next couple of months including Pandora‘s second season that will debut on Sunday, October 4th, and Swamp Thing making it’s broadcast premiere on Tuesday, October 6th.

New series Devils will make it’s premiere on Wednesday, October 7th, followed by the season two premiere of Coroner.

The CW Reveals Fall 2020 - January 2021 Television Schedule

The CW is revealing their programming schedule.

The network announced its Fall 2020 to January 2021 schedule on Wednesday (May 13).

The forthcoming scheduled includes the finale of Supernatural, which will air this fall. The show was expected to wrap this spring after 15 seasons, but the final episodes could not finish filming due to the pandemic.

The CW will air acquired shows and unscripted shows this fall, including Swamp Thing, Tell Me a Story, Coroner and Dead Pixels.

The network also revealed their planned schedule for January 2021, including the debut of Walker with Jared Padalecki and Superman & Lois. Shows like Dynasty, Roswell, New Mexico and In the Dark are also set to return.

“This year, The CW has made the proactive strategic decision to launch its new season in January 2021, rolling out a line-up of our signature returning series which will be joined next year by our four new series, including the return of the DC’s most iconic superhero in Superman & Lois, the return of the Texas Rangers in Walker, the reimagined Kung Fu and the rebellious drama The Republic of Sarah,” said CW exec Mark Pedowitz, via Variety.

Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi & Lindsey Morgan Join Jared Padalecki in 'Walker Texas Ranger' Reboot

Jared Padalecki has three new co-stars in The CW’s upcoming Walker, Texas Ranger reboot, Walker.

Former Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen, Supernatural‘s Mitch Pileggi and The 100‘s Lindsey Morgan have joined the new show.

Keegan will play Liam Walker, Cordell’s younger gay and conservative brother who has been recently promoted to assistant DA.

Mitch will play Bonham Walker, Walker’s father, a third-generation Texas rancher, who has been taking care of Walker’s children while he’s been undercover.

Lindsey will play Cordell’s new partner, one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history.

Walker was picked up to series by The CW for the 2020-2021 season.

CW Picks Up 'Walker, Texas Ranger' Reboot & 'Superman & Lois' Shows For 2020-2021 Season

The CW has picked up both Walker, Texas Ranger reboot and new Superman & Lois series, according to several reports.

The network has greenlit the two projects, forgoing any formal pilot, THR reports.

The first episodes for the two shows will be filmed in the spring in advance of The CW’s upfront presentation.

Walker, Texas Ranger reboot centers on Cordell Walker, played by Jared, “a widowed father of two with his own moral code who returns to his home in Austin after two years of undercover work on a high-profile case, only to discover there’s more work to be done at home. He’ll try to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his conservative family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner, one of the few women ever to serve in the Texas Rangers — while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances of his wife’s death.”

Superman & Lois, with Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, is described as “revolving around the world’s most famous super hero and comics’ most famous journalist deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

Jared Padalecki Reveals His 20 Resolutions for 2020

Jared Padalecki is looking forward to making 2020 a great year and he has a bunch of resolutions that he hopes to keep.

The 37-year-old actor is currently working on the final season of his hit CW series Supernatural and the final resolution on his list of 20 is dedicated to the fans of that show.

“HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wanted to send some holiday love and say, though I know this year will have its difficulties (saying goodbye to something I love so deeply), I’m honored to be finishing this journey with y’all by my side ❤️,” Jared tweeted.

Some of Jared‘s other resolutions include things like tweeting more, playing more guitar, and becoming better at math.

Last week, Jared went shirtless while writing a Christmas message to his fans!
