Jason Gotay is one of the hot stars of the new HBO Max series Gossip Girl!

The 32-year-old actor, best known for his work on Broadway, plays Rafa Caparros, a classics teacher at Constance Billard.

If you’ve watched the second episode of the series, then you know all about Rafa’s big story line involving student Max Wolfe, played by Thomas Doherty.

In real life, Jason has been in a relationship with his fiance Michael Hartung for over six years and they’ve shared so many cute photos on Instagram!

The new Gossip Girl revival series just premiered on HBO Max and fans will likely be wondering how old the actors are in real life.

As in most television shows, a bunch of the actors playing the high school students are actually much older than their characters… though some of the Gossip Girl stars are pretty close in age.

Adding to the confusion is how young some of the teachers on the show are. Tavi Gevinson, who plays the lead teacher Kate Keller, is actually younger than some of the actors who play her students!

The five leads for the upcoming HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl have been revealed!

It was already announced that former Revenge actress Emily Alyn Lind would be leading the cast and now four more actors are joining her in the highly anticipated series.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s Whitney Peak, Broadway actor Jason Gotay, Lethal Weapon‘s Johnathan Fernandez, and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists‘ Eli Brown are all joining the show.

The reboot will be set eight years after the original show, with Kristen Bell returning as the narrator. It follows a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years.

Gossip Girl will be comprised of ten episodes, which will be available to stream on HBO Max.
