Sandra Oh Leads Netflix's 'The Chair' - First Teaser Released!

Sandra Oh stars in this first look at The Chair, coming to Netflix in August!

Here’s a synopsis of the show: At a major university, the first woman of color to become chair tries to meet the dizzying demands and high expectations of a failing English department.

Others set to star include Jay Duplass as Professor Bill Dobson, Holland Taylor as Professor Joan Hambling, Bob Balaban as Professor Elliot Rentz, Nana Mensah as Professor Yaz McKay, David Morse as Dean Paul Larson, Everly Carganilla as Ju-Hee “Ju Ju” Kim; among others.

Alison Brie's Psychological Thriller 'Horse Girl' Gets Unsettling Trailer - Watch!

Alison Brie stars in the surreal and strange new trailer for her upcoming film Horse Girl.

Netflix dropped the new visual on Tuesday (January 21).

Here’s the synopsis: “Sarah (Alison Brie), a socially isolated arts and crafts store employee, finds herself more content in the company of horses and supernatural crime shows than people. But when a series of strangely surreal dreams upend the simplicity of her waking life, Sarah struggles to distinguish her visions from reality.”

Directed by Jeff Baena, Horse Girl is “a darkly humorous psychological thriller about a woman’s search for the truth, however abstract it may be.”

It also stars Debby Ryan, John Reynolds, Molly Shannon, John Ortiz, Paul Reiser, and Jay Duplass.

Horse Girl hits the streaming service on February 7.

Judith Light Joins 'Transparent' Cast at Musical Series Finale Premiere!

Judith Light is ready to share the final episode of Transparent!

The 70-year-old actress joined the rest of the show’s cast at the premiere of their musical finale on Friday night (September 13) at Regal LA Live in Los Angeles.

She was also joined by her co-stars Amy Landecker, Gaby Hoffmann, Jay Duplass, Shakina Nayfack, Trace Lysette and Kathryn Hahn.

Other cast mates in attendance included Cherry Jones, Bradley Whitford, Melora Hardin, Jill Soloway and Alexandra Grey.

Amazon’s official synopsis of the finale promises “a dazzling two-hour movie musical fantasia. When the Pfeffermans face a life-changing loss, they begin a journey hilarious and melancholy, brazen and bold. As they face this new transition, they confront grief and come together to celebrate connection, joy, and transformation.”

Alexandra Daddario Says Meghan Markle Has Ruined Her Top Yoga Spot

Alexandra Daddario hit James Corden‘s couch alongside Jay Duplass on last night’s (Wednesday 11) episode of The Late Late Show!

The 33-year-old actress explained how Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (aka Meghan Markle) may have ruined her favorite yoga spot after press captured her making a visit to it. “Is this true that Meghan Markle has ruined your workout regimen?,” James asked.

“Yes, she has,” Alexandra admitted. “She came into New York last weekend and she went to a yoga place called Modo Yoga, which is my yoga place. It’s where I always go. They have places in LA and New York.”

“Now that she went there, everyone’s gonna want to go there,” Daddario told Corden. “And there’s not going to be any room…It’s going to be harder to get into.”

However, Alexandra admitted that she wouldn’t be mad about a Markle sighting while she’s there. “She can sweat on me. I don’t mind,” she said. “That would be ok.”

Amazon released the trailer for the musical series finale for Transparent starring Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Alexandra Billings, Kathryn Hahn, Shakina Nayfack, and Trace Lysette.

It was revealed back in June that the award-winning series had killed off Jeffrey Tambor‘s character Maura after he was accused of sexual misconduct from co-star Trace and former assistant Van Barnes.

The Pfefferman family is saying goodbye to Maura in the final episode of Transparent.

The newly released trailer for the Amazon Prime Video series has revealed that Jeffrey Tambor‘s transgender character Maura has been killed off after he was accused of sexual misconduct from actress Trace Lysette and former assistant Van Barnes.
