Jensen Ackles is kind of taking credit for Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton‘s relationship.

In a sneak peek of Jeffrey and Hilarie‘s new video chat show, Friday Night In with the Morgans from EW, the two revealed that they met because of Jensen.

“Hilarie was in town visiting, this was in L.A., and she was staying with us and so we went out one evening,” Jensen remembered.

“I remember it, it was like an Irish pub in Toluca Lake, and there we were sitting, the three of us,” he shared, referencing him, Hilarie and his now wife, Danneel Ackles.

He added that he “convinced [Jeffrey] to come down the street and meet us for a drink, and you did. And you pulled up in your Harley, and we were sitting there in the front window, and Hilarie sees this guy get off a bike in slow-motion and take his helmet off and throw his hair [around]…it was all very surreal.”

Jensen says that the moment Jeffrey joined them, “the two of you locked eyes, and that was pretty much the rest of the evening.”

Here’s some cool news for fans of The Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and One Tree Hill‘s Hilarie Burton!

The married couple will be filming a weekly half-hour talk show from their upstate New York home and it’s going to air on AMC on Friday nights.

Friday Night In with the Morgans will premiere on April 17 at 10pm and “each episode will feature conversations about how people are getting through the pandemic and life in quarantine,” according to Deadline.

Among the guests set to appear on the talk show are The Walking Dead‘s Sarah Wayne Callies and Christian Serratos and The League‘s Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton.

Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel Ackles, who introduced the Morgans to each other, will also make an appearance.

“We have been a part of the AMC family for a long time and are honored to create this comforting space with them,” the couple said in a statement. “From our home here at Mischief Farm, we look forward to shining a light on those who are doing good in the world, catching up with old friends and connecting with the awesome fan base we’ve gotten to know over the years.”

Hilarie Burton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan got married this year, and Hilarie is now reflecting on the meaning of that day and the end of this decade in one emotionally charged post.

“Ten years ago, I was pregnant, unemployed, unsure about where I was gonna live or give birth and despite the bravado I may have projected, I was scared. My whole life I’d thought I would follow the same path as everyone I’d grown up around. Have a steady job. Get married. Buy a house. Have kids. But the path didn’t unfold that way at all,” Hilarie posted.

“A decade later, I can look back at my younger self and say ‘it’s okay, honey! Happiness will surprise you! Let it!’ 2019 was incredibly good to our family. The wedding I thought I wanted when I was 26 was made so much sweeter by waiting. My love for @jeffreydeanmorgan has evolved into something so much deeper and golden. Our children participated and were at our sides for all of it. It was the celebration of an entire decade,” she added.

“As I see all the year in review posts today, my entire year – my entire decade really – can be summed up in that one day. Happy New Year, everyone. I hope your path is winding and surprising and takes you on a wild ride. Biggest Happy New year to @jeffreydeanmorgan, Gus and George. Love isn’t a big enough word. Hilarie and Jeffrey were married this past October after a decade together.

“We had built this life together. We’d had kids together. I think there comes a point where you just don’t want to go another day by being inauthentic about it,” Hilarie told People.

She added, “I have a book coming out in March with Harper One called The Rural Diaries, and it really is about the choices that we made leaving L.A. to go live on a farm in upstate New York. It’s not a convenient lifestyle, certainly for our business, but those choices that we made to create that life have really forced us to be, yeah, more authentic with our choices, like the animals have to be fed, the wood has to be chopped, and so we wanted to be a concrete truth, like those things.”

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki all got matching tattoos at Jeffrey’s recent wedding to longtime love, Hilarie Burton.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton got married over the weekend and a stunning wedding photo has been shared!

The couple has been together for over ten years and it was widely believed that they were already married, but they never were until now.

Jeffrey wore a custom Joseph Abboud outfit, which he created in collaboration with the designer and his stylist Jeanne Yang.

“Jeffrey was a pleasure to work with. His aesthetic mixed with the rich textures and patterns of these designs were the perfect pairing,” Abboud said in a statement. “I am so happy for Jeffrey on his big day!”

The Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and One Tree Hill‘s Hilarie Burton were not ever officially married until October 5, 2019!

The couple have been together since 2009 and have two kids together: son Gus, 9, and daughter George, 19 months. All along, reports suggested they were legally married but Hilarie just clarified for everyone with an Instagram post.

“this past weekend was the best of my entire life. There are dozens of thank yous I need to make. So bear with me over the next week as I gush over the amazing group of people who gave us this beautiful moment. But before we do any of that, Jeff and I just want to put it out there that WE GOT MARRIED! For real. We’ve lived as husband and wife for a decade. We’ve built a family, and a farm and found our community. For years, publications have reported that we got married in 2014 or 2015 and that I’ve been married and divorced before. All untrue. But WE knew our truth,” Hilarie wrote.

“So it felt silly to try and correct anything. Here’s the God’s honest fact: From the moment I met @jeffreydeanmorgan , he was my husband. Rather than make vows right out of the gate, we lived them. For over ten years. The good times and the bad. Standing up there with our children at our sides – celebrating all that has been – was bliss. I love you Jeffrey. I love our intimate group of friends and family who joined us. I love the various circles of loved ones who have supported us over the years. It was private and magical and everything I dreamed. So yeah. I’m Mrs. Morgan. 10.5.19,” she added.
