Lea Michele chats with Becca Tobin while out running errands in Los Angeles on Friday (November 11).

The two BFFs were spotted doing a bit of shopping ahead of Lea, 30, heading back to rehearsals for The Grove Christmas.

She’ll be performing alongside Rachel Platten on Sunday, November 13th at the open shopping center. Check out a video from her rehearsal below!

The event will also feature an incredible musical spectacular, lighting of the Christmas tree, the arrival of Santa Claus and fireworks finale.

Lea Michele and her former Glee co-star Jenna Ushkowitz pose backstage with a pie at the musical Waitress on Broadway at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday (November 6) in New York City.

Jenna starred in the show for several weeks, but left the show on October 20. Lea, of course, is no stranger to the Broadway stage and has starred in Spring Awakening, Les Misérables, and Ragtime.

While backstage, Lea met up with the show’s songwriter Sara Bareilles.

“Loved seeing @waitressmusical on Broadway🎭 this weekend! �’�it was so good! �’�🏻 w/ such fantastic music by this talented lady,” Lea captioned the photo on Twitter. See it below!

Michelle Obama gives Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo a big hug while appearing on stage at the Broadway Shines Light on Global Girls’ Education event on Monday (September 19) at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City.

The First Lady of the United States hosted the event, which was held in the Broadway theater where Cynthia‘s musical The Color Purple is currently playing.

Other big names from Broadway that appeared at the event included Sara Bareilles, the composer of Waitress, and Jenna Ushkowitz, who currently is starring in that show.

The Late Show‘s Stephen Colbert and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical star Chilina Kennedy also made appearances.

“So inspired by the #letgirlslearn program today–provided by @michelleobama. I felt so fortunate to get to learn about the world through the eyes of a group of people who want to inspire girls to keep doing just that…to learn. I take for granted how easily we can access education here…so tonight I’m feeling grateful and returned to a song that arrived as I was embarking on an unknown journey in my own life. I never want to stop learning. #LETGIRLSLEARN,” Sara wrote on her Instagram after the event. She also added the below video of herself singing “Uncharted.”

Jenna Ushkowitz takes a bow after her first performance of Waitress the musical at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Friday (July 29) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress took over for the role of Dawn in the Broadway musical from Orange is the New Black‘s Kimiko Glenn, who is on a hiatus from the production.

Jenna is no stranger to the Broadway stage! She’s also been seen in Hair, The Wedding Singer, The King and I, and Spring Awakening.

Jenna Ushkowitz is set to make her return to Broadway in the new musical Waitress!

The 30-year-old actress, best known for her work on the Fox series Glee, will be taking over for Orange Is the New Black‘s Kimiko Glenn during her leave of absence.

Jenna‘s first performance is July 29 and it’s not yet known when her last show will be.

This is the third Broadway show for Jenna. She has previously been seen on stage in The King and I at age nine and in the original production of Spring Awakening.

The 31-year-old actor was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his work as King George in the musical Hamilton, but he lost to co-star Daveed Diggs.

Andrew Rannells, who replaced Jonathan in the musical, was joined on the carpet at the event by his longtime boyfriend Mike Doyle.

Also in attendance at the event was Jonathan‘s former Glee co-star Jenna Ushkowitz.
