Nicholas Braun & Jeremy Strong Take a Break From Filming 'Succession' Season Three in NYC

Nicholas Braun and Jeremy Strong are enjoying a little down time from filming Succession.

Nicholas, 33, and Jeremy, 42, went for a walk around the block in between filming scenes for the upcoming third season of the award-winning HBO series on Tuesday afternoon (May 11) in New York City.

Nicholas, Jeremy, and the rest of the Succession cast have been filming season three for the past several months, after production was delayed because of the pandemic.

The official logline of the season, according to HBO, is as follows: “Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall (Strong) at the end of season two, Logan Roy (Brian Cox) begins season three in a perilous position. Scrambling to secure familial, political and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”

If you missed it, it was announced last week that this Emmy winner and this Oscar winner will be joining Succession for season three!

As of right now, HBO has not revealed the premiere date for season three of Succession.

'The Trial of the Chicago 7' Will Submit All Actors Into the Same Category at 2021 Oscars

The entire cast of the movie The Trial of the Chicago 7 will be competing in the Best Supporting Actor category at the Oscars next year.

The movie, which was written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, features 12 actors billed above the title and it’s definitely an ensemble piece. Many expected that Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne would be campaigned as lead actors while the rest of the cast would be in the supporting category.

Now, it’s been confirmed by THR that all actors will be campaigned in the supporting category. Another time that this has happened recently was with the movie Spotlight, which went on to win Best Picture.

The cast of the film includes, in alphabetical order, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sacha Baron Cohen, Danny Flaherty, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, John Caroll Lynch, Eddie Redmayne, Noah Robbins, Mark Rylance, Alex Sharp, and Jeremy Strong.

Many believe that the actors with the best chance at landing a nomination are Abdul-Mateen II, Cohen, and former winner Rylance.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 is now streaming on Netflix.

'Succession' Star Jeremy Strong Joins Bradley Cooper's Netflix Project 'Maestro'

Jeremy Strong is joining the cast.

The 41-year-old Succession actor is set to join Bradley Cooper‘s upcoming Netflix project Maestro, focusing on the life of Leonard Bernstein, Deadline reported Monday (October 19).

He is set to play biographer John Gruen, described as a renaissance man and critic for The New York Herald Tribune and New York magazine, who also wrote the authorized biography The Private World of Leonard Bernstein.

Bradley will play Leonard Bernstein.

Here’s a plot summary: “The drama spans over 30 years. Bernstein’s career is enough to fill a miniseries: his conducting debut at the New York Philharmonic at 25 when the conductor took ill; without even rehearsing, Bernstein did so well his star was launched the next day when his feat made the front page of the New York Times. He was blacklisted before being cleared of being a communist just before he composed the Oscar-nominated score for On the Waterfront; and he was an activist in the civil rights movement, and outspoken on issues including ending the Vietnam War. But the through line for the movie is the beautifully complex story of the marriage between Bernstein and his wife, Felicia Montealegre.”

Carey Mulligan is set to play Felicia.

Bradley recently made headlines for his thoughts about awards shows.
