The first trailer for Detroit has been released and it tells the gripping story of one of the darkest moments during the civil unrest that rocked Detroit in the summer of ’67.

The movie also features an all-star cast including John Boyega, Will Poulter, Algee Smith, Jacob Latimore, Kaitlyn Dever, Jack Reynor, John Krasinski, Anthony Mackie, Ben O’Toole, Joseph David Jones, Ephraim Sykes, Leon Thomas III, Nathan Davis Jr., Jason Mitchell, Hannah Murray, Peyton Alex Smith, Malcolm David Kelley, Gbenga Akinnabve, Chris Chalk, Jeremy Strong, Laz Alonzo, Austin Hebert, Miguel Pimentel, and Kris Davis.

Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow directed the movie.

Ryan Gosling poses on the red carpet with his The Big Short co-stars Christian Bale and Steve Carell at the premiere of their new movie on Thursday (November 12) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

The guys were joined at the event by fellow castmates Marisa Tomei, Max Greenfield, Finn Wittrock (with wife Sarah Roberts), Jeremy Strong, Karen Gillan, and Hamish Linklater (with girlfriend Lily Rabe).

Christian brought his wife Sibi to the premiere.

Ryan celebrated his 35th birthday that day and he made a return to Twitter to ask his fans to do something on his special day.

“For my birthday… Could you do me a solid and pass this around?” Ryan tweeted along with a video of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders showing compassion for a Muslim student. He later added, “I’m not endorsing a political candidate btw. It’s more the talking and listening I’m a fan of.”

Robert Downey Jr. is all smiles while holding onto his wife Susan‘s baby bump on the red carpet of their new movie The Judge on Wednesday evening (October 1) at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 49-year-old actor stars in the film while Susan was one of the lead producers on the project.

Also in attendance were Robert‘s co-stars Vera Farmiga, Billy Bob Thornton, Robert Duvall, and Jeremy Strong. Check out the film in theaters on October 10!

Katie Holmes smiles at British actor Jeremy Strong as the two head to see the off-Broadway play If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet together on Saturday (September 1) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actress co-starred with Jeremy in the 2010 flick The Romantics.
