The trailer for the upcoming Netflix movie I’m Thinking of Ending Things has been released!
Jessie Buckley stars in the film, which was written and directed by Oscar winner Charlie Kaufman. The movie is inspired by the cult horror novel by Iain Reid.
Here’s the film’s synopsis: Despite second thoughts about their relationship, a young woman (Buckley) takes a road trip with her new boyfriend (Jesse Plemons) to his family farm. Trapped at the farm during a snowstorm with Jake’s mother (Toni Collette) and father (David Thewlis), the young woman begins to question the nature of everything she knew or understood about her boyfriend, herself, and the world.
Jessie earned rave reviews for her work in the movie Wild Rose and she earned a BAFTA Award nomination for the project. She also has been seen in the movies Judy and Dolittle, as well as the HBO limited series Chernobyl.
I’m Thinking of Ending Things debuts on Netflix on September 4.

The actresses are both nominated for awards this year – Kaitlyn for the EE Rising Star Award and Jessie for Best Actress for her work in Wild Rose.
Jessie was nominated in the EE Rising Star Award category last year. More of this year’s nominees who attended the event included Jack Lowden, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Michael Ward.
The 30-year-old Irish actress stars in the movie Wild Rose and she performs the song “Glasgow” in the film.
“Glasgow,” which was written by actress Mary Steenburgen, tied for the win for Best Original Song with Rocketman‘s “I’m Gonna Love Me Again,” written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
Jessie also starred in the HBO series Chernobyl, which was nominated for Best Limited Series. You can see her in the new movie Dolittle, which hits theaters next week.
