Jennifer Garner & Jill Biden Go Mask-Free Together While Promoting the Vaccine to Teens

Jennifer Garner and Jill Biden are following the new CDC guidelines and they went mask-free at a public event for the first time since the start of the pandemic!

The actress and the First Lady of the United States teamed up for a trip to Capital High School on Thursday (May 13) in Charleston, West Virginia.

Jennifer and Jill were there to encourage teens at the school to get vaccinated.

“Vaccinated friends and family are able to take off their masks,” Jill said (via The Hill). “As of yesterday, everyone 12 and over can now get to the vaccine. And that’s making our gatherings with our family and our friends safer.”

The two stars spoke for an audience of about 50 socially distanced audience members.

“We are thrilled to just be getting back to normal. It’s so exciting,” Jennifer said. “I can’t believe I’m standing here without a mask on, looking at mask-less faces. And we owe that to President Biden and we owe that in large part to Gov. [Jim] Justice.”

For those who didn’t know, Jennifer grew up in Charleston!

Some new photos of the Bidens are going viral because of how sweet they are!

The President of the United States and the First Lady were spotted leaving the White House and walking to the Marine One on Thursday morning (April 29) in Washington, D.C.

While en route to the helicopter, Joe spotted a dandelion on the field and picked it up to hand to Jill. So cute!

The Bidens spent the day in Georgia to commemorate the first 100 days in office and to visit with former President Jimmy Carter. The couple was spotted arriving back in D.C. later that night and you can see those photos in the gallery.

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden Undergoes Medical Procedure With Joe Biden at Her Side

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden is receiving treatment.

The 69-year-old First Lady of the United States underwent a “common medical procedure” Wednesday morning (April 14) and is set to return to her normal schedule, the White House confirmed in a statement.

A spokeswoman said she “tolerated the procedure well” and was “heading back to the White House to resume her normal schedule.” There were no specific details offered regarding the procedure.

President Joe Biden went with her to the procedure, which was done at an outpatient center in Washington, D.C., according to the White House.

Reporters on the scene added that they were there for about two hours.

The first lady is not scheduled to make public appearances on Wednesday (April 13), and will next be traveling to Illinois next week with Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

President Biden recently gave a big update regarding the coronavirus vaccine.
