‘First Wives Club’ TV Reboot Adds Jill Scott & Michelle Buteau to the Cast!

Actress and singer Jill Scott and comedian Michelle Buteau have joined the cast of the First Wives Club television reboot from Paramount Television!

The show has been granted a 10 episode order from the Girls Trip co-writer Tracy Oliver to pen for the network.

"Hello sugars!!! Siced to announce @michellebuteau and I have joined the cast of Tracy Oliver’s “The #FirstWivesClub,” coming to @ParamountNetwork. Yup Shawtie gotta gig," Jill posted on her Instagram account.

Michelle also posted the news on Twitter writing to Jill, "Can. Not. Wait. Queen."

Teyana Taylor Brings Baby Girl Junie To Soul Train Awards 2016!

Teyana Taylor carries her adorable baby girl Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., who she calls Junie as a nickname, while hitting the red carpet at the 2016 Soul Train Music Awards held at the Orleans Arena on Sunday (November 6) in Las Vegas.

The 25-year-old singer was also joined at the event by Erykah Badu, Tamar Braxton, Jill Scott, Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheredge, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Eric Benet, Yuna and Tito Jackson.

Meghan Trainor Performs with Jill Scott & Kelsea Ballerini at CMT Artists of the Year 2016

Meghan Trainor gets a side hug from Jill Scott after their performance at the 2016 CMT Artists of the Year on Wednesday night (October 19) in Nashville, Tenn.

The two powerhouse singers joined country artist and Breakthrough Artist winner Kelsea Ballerini on stage to perform a Shania Twain classic, "Man, I Feel Like a Woman".

Later on, Kelsea performed another song on stage before being honored at the event. She actually made history with her latest single, "Peter Pan", and became the only female artist in country music history to hit the top spot with her first three consecutive singles from a debut album.

FYI: Kelsea wore a Max Azria Atelier gown, Stuart Weitzman heels, a Tyler Ellis clutch and Suzanne Kalan jewelry on the carpet. On stage, Kelsea had two looks: a sparkly Mimi Tran blue dress, with Stuart Weitzman heels, and Sorelli, Tacori and Suzanne Kalan jewels; and a Luciana Balderrama jumpsuit. Meghan wore a Milly dress.

Queen Latifah, Condola Rashad, and Keri Hilson attend the premiere of Lifetime's television movie event Steel Magnolias on Wednesday (October 3) in New York City.

The ladies were joined at the event by Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Adepero Oduye, and Alfre Woodard.

Steel Magnolias is a contemporary version of the classic play and film that chronicles the lives and friendship of six women in Louisiana. Supporting each other through their triumphs and tragedies, they congregate at Truvy's (Scott) beauty shop to ponder the mysteries of life and death, husbands and children - and hair and nails - all the important topics that truly unite and celebrate women.
