Jodie Comer hold a tiny rose on the cover of British GQ Hype‘s new issue, on newsstands now.

Here is what the 26-year-old Killing Eve actress had to share with the mag:

On fearing the worst when she first heard the words “female assassin”: “I was like, ‘Oh, fuck no.’ Because I always think of someone in a leather catsuit and six-inch heels scaling walls. Also, ‘How naked is she going to be?…I should have known better, knowing Phoebe was the writer.’

On Phoebe Waller-Bridge: “I love her so much. I’ve said to her she has to cast me on every single thing she makes from now on. Otherwise I’ll send Villanelle!”

On her love of Villanelle’s clothes and watching in horror as Eve throws them to the floor at the end of the first series: “I was being really precious about them getting dirty on the floor. I was like, ‘No!””

Jodie Comer holds a gun up to Ryan Reynolds‘ torso while taking him captive for a scene in the upcoming movie Free Guy on Monday morning (May 20) in Boston, Mass.

The two actors were spotted working with director Shawn Levy on a scene for the upcoming video game-inspired film.

The movie follows “a background character (Reynolds) who realizes he’s living in a video game. With the help of an avatar (Comer), he tries to prevent the makers of the game from shutting down his world.”

Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Taika Waititi, and Utkarsh Ambudkar are all starring in the film as well. It will be released on July 3, 2020.

Jodie Comer dazzles in a white and gold lace gown at the season two UK premiere of her series Killing Eve!

The 26-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the event held at Curzon Soho on Tuesday (May 14) in London, England.

She was joined by her co-stars Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia, Edward Bluemel, Nina Sosanya, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Owen McDonnell, and Julian Barratt.

The second season of Killing Eve premiered on BBC America in the U.S. on April 7, but a premiere date for British viewers not yet been confirmed.

In Killing Eve, after a series of events, the lives of a security operative and an assassin become inextricably linked.

Jodie Comer and Benedict Cumberbatch hold up their trophies after their big wins at the 2019 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards held at The Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (May 12) in London, England.

The 26-year-old actress won the Leading Actress award for her work on Killing Eve while the 42-year-old actor won the Leading Actor award for his work on Patrick Melrose.

Killing Eve was a big winner of the night. The show also picked up the award for Best Drama Series and Fiona Shaw won for Best Supporting Actress. Benedict‘s show Patrick Melrose also picked up the award for Best Mini-Series.

Also in attendance were Killing Eve‘s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Damian Lewis, Helen McCrory, Doctor Who‘s Jodie Whittaker, Julia Stiles, James Norton, Jane Krakowski, Queer Eye‘s Bobby Berk, Steve Coogan, David Schwimmer, Will Poulter, Ruth Wilson, Maya Jama and Kelsey Grammer with wife Kayte Walsh.

Dax Shepard hit James Corden‘s couch on The Late Late Show on Monday night (April 29) alongside Jodie Comer and opened up about the time he sat next to his idol Jay-Z and Beyonce at the Met Gala!

“I have gone one time, my wife [Kristen Bell] always gets invited and she invited me like four times in a row,” the 44-year-old actor expressed. “At one point she said, ‘I think you’re going to want to come this year because at our table Jay-Z’s going to be there. I am the number one Jay-Z fan in America.”

“We didn’t belong there, but as luck would have it, I was seated right next to my hero Jay-Z,” Dax continued. “I gave Jay-Z what I would call the platinum package, everything was on the table: jokes, sincerity, admiration, you name it, I gave him 120 percent. I promise you if we’d bump into each other in the bathroom mid-meal, he’d have no idea I was sitting at his table.”

Jodie talked about spending time in Los Angeles and how she’s had quite a run of bad luck trying to find a rental to stay, encountering both scams and bed bugs.

Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson hit the couch alongside Jodie Comer and Daniel Radcliffe as they film their appearance on The Graham Norton Show, airing tonight (April 19)!

While on the show, the 36-year-old Oscar-winning actress admits she only learned she would have to use a British accent in her new film The Hustle a week before shooting.

“I found out I had to do it a week before we started shooting. I thought if I didn’t do it, it wouldn’t make a difference, but the director insisted,” Anne reveals. “I’ve done it before and it hasn’t always gone well, and it is so stressful to see someone struggle through an accent, so I got a dialect coach and made the best of it.”

Rebel, who is also the film’s producer, joks that she had no challenges: “As the producer, I gave her all the accents and I was cast as Australian, so I did no prep!”

Jodie Comer stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday (April 10) and revealed that she keeps a “kill wall” in her makeup trailer on the set of Killing Eve.

The 26-year-old actress told Seth that she keeps track of everyone her character, Villanelle, has assassinated in the BBC America series.

“Whenever we had an actor who suddenly left us, we would put a big red cross through their face and turn them upside down and put them on a separate wall,” Jodie expressed. “We slowly realized the death wall was so much bigger than the remaining cast.”

“It’s just hard to keep tabs,” Jodie continued. “And, also, we’ve literally joined her life so late in the game that I’m like, ‘Can you imagine all the people prior?’ Too many to mention.”
