The stars join Alison Oliver, an emerging talent from Lir Academy (where Normal People’s Paul Mescal also attended), who will play Frances.

Sasha will star as Bobbi, Joe will play Nick and Jemima is Melissa.

Here’s a plot summary and character descriptions: “Described as both a complex coming of age drama and a very modern love story, Conversations with Friends follows Frances (Oliver), a 21-year-old college student, as she navigates a series of relationships that force her to confront her own vulnerabilities for the first time. Frances is observant, cerebral and sharp. Her ex-girlfriend, now best friend, Bobbi (Lane) is self-assured, outspoken and compelling. Though they broke up three years ago, Frances and Bobbi are virtually inseparable and perform spoken word poetry together in Dublin. It’s at one of their shows that they meet Melissa (Kirke), an older writer, who is fascinated by the pair. Bobbi and Frances start to spend time with Melissa and her husband, Nick (Alwyn), a handsome but reserved actor. While Melissa and Bobbi flirt with each other openly, Nick and Frances embark on an intense, secret affair that is surprising to them both. Soon the affair begins to test the bond between Frances and Bobbi, forcing Frances to reconsider her sense of self, and the friendship she holds so dear.”

The drama is set to air across 12 half-hour episodes, airing next year on the BBC and on Hulu. Filming will take place this year in Dublin, Belfast and international locations still to be announced.

Taylor Swift Talks About Joe Alwyn's Pseudonym During 'Kimmel' Interview

Taylor Swift was asked about her boyfriend Joe Alwyn‘s songwriting pseudonym during her interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The 31-year-old singer appeared on the late night talk show on Monday night (December 14) to chat about her new album Evermore and her Disney+ documentary film Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.

“Your boyfriend wrote some of the lyrics to some of the songs under a pseudonym, William Bowery. Who chose that name?” Jimmy asked.

Taylor replied, “He did.”

When asked for the inspiration behind the name, Taylor said, “You gotta ask him because it’s really more of his story than mine.” Jimmy then told her to turn the camera around and let him talk, which led her to let out a big laugh.

Taylor Swift Wrote These Three 'Evermore' Songs with Boyfriend Joe Alwyn!

Taylor Swift had some help from boyfriend Joe Alwyn while writing a few songs on her new album evermore!

Back in November, the 30-year-old entertainer revealed that the 29-year-old actor was a “secret” collaborator on her album folklore.

However, Joe wasn’t credited under his real name. Instead, he was credited as “William Bowery” and he helped Taylor on the songs “Exile” and “Betty” on her last album.

“So, William Bowery is Joe, as we know. And Joe plays piano beautifully, and he’s just always playing and making things up and kind of creating things,” Taylor said in her Disney+ Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions special.

Ahead of evermore‘s release, Taylor answered questions from fans and one fan asked if she had worked with “William Bowery” again on the album.

Taylor answered, writing, “I wrote 3 songs with William Bowery!”

Now that evermore has been released – and the credits to go with each of the songs – we now know which songs Joe helped Taylor write!

Fans Think Taylor Swift Subtly Responded to Engagement Rumors

It looks like Taylor Swift might have subtly reacted to those engagement rumors.

If you don’t know, there’s constant speculation about Taylor‘s love life amid her relationships. Right now, she’s dating Joe Alwyn, and there has been near constant chatter that they may have gotten engaged.

Taylor referred to Joe as her “boyfriend” in her newest EW interview. When speaking about who knew she was making Fokelore, she responded, “It was weird because I had never made an album and not played it for my girlfriends or told my friends. The only people who knew were the people that I was making it with, my boyfriend, my family, and then my management team. So that’s the smallest number of people I’ve ever had know about something. I’m usually playing it for everyone that I’m friends with. So I had a lot of friends texting me things like, ‘Why didn’t you say on our everyday Facetimes you were making a record?’”
