Joey King found a creative way to give her grandmother a hug on her birthday, amid the pandemic!

The 21-year-old actress hasn’t been able to hug her Grandma Elaine since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic back in March, but she finally got to embrace her after eight months.

Joey dressed up in a dinosaur costume that served as a full body suit and allowed her to give her grandma a hug.

“Safely hugged my grandma for the first time since March🦖,” Joey captioned a photo on her Instagram page.

Joey‘s mom shared the below video and said, “@joeyking figured out a way to give her grandma her first hug since March!!! @redsfarrar Happy Birthday to the matriarch of this family. You taught us all how to be strong, thoughtful woman. You are the best mother of the mother!!”

This past weekend, Joey won an exciting award and revealed some big news about an upcoming movie during her acceptance speech.

Logan Lerman is the latest actor to join the star-studded cast of the upcoming action thriller movie Bullet Train, according to Deadline!

The 28-year-old actor’s role in the film is unknown and plot details are still pretty vague, so we unfortunately don’t have much else to report.

Bullet Train will feature an all-star cast that includes Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, and Andrew Koji. Another star who is reportedly joining the cast is Lady Gaga, who will have a small supporting role.

This will be a reunion for Brad and Logan as they previously worked together on Fury!

Logan was most recently seen in the movie Shirley, which is streaming on Hulu. He also stars in the Amazon Prime Video series Hunters, which is getting a second season. He is best known for his roles in the Percy Jackson series and the adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Red was clearly the most popular color of the night at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards!

Five celebs, including host Demi Lovato, wore the color while attending the annual event on Sunday night (November 15) at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif.

Demi kicked off the night in a sparkly red Naeem Khan number on the carpet and then she changed into four more outfits while hosting the show.

Jennifer Lopez looked amazing in a red Christian Siriano dress while accepting the People’s Icon award.

The Kissing Booth 2 star Joey King wore a red look from Robert Wun while accepting the award for Comedy Movie Star.

Sofia Vergara wore a red dress from Dolce&Gabbana while accepting the Comedy TV Star award, which marked her final-ever award for Modern Family.

TikTok star Addison Rae wore a vintage red dress as one of the night’s many presenters.

Joey King is all smiles while accepting her award at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 21-year-old actress won the award for the Comedy Movie Star of 2020 for her work in the Netflix movie The Kissing Booth 2.

During her speech, she teased the release date of the highly anticipated third movie. She also confirmed the third movie will be the LAST movie in the series.

“I told myself that if I won, I would share a very exciting piece of news with everybody, so… I want to tell you that Kissing Booth 3, our final installment, is going to be released in summer 2021! I am so excited, I wish it was tomorrow!” Joey said during the speech. “I really, really wish it was tomorrow! Thank you guys so much! Thank you for loving this movie, and loving this character as much as I do, it means so much, so thank you!”

Joey King is attached to star in an upcoming movie titled The Princess, which has been acquired by 20th Century Studios and will be made as a film for Hulu.

Not much is known yet about the plot of the movie, but it’s being described as “Rapunzel meets The Raid,” according to Deadline. You might be unfamiliar with The Raid, which is a 2011 Indonesian action-thriller that follows an elite squad that infiltrates a high-rise building run by a ruthless drug lord.

The script was written by Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton, who will be serve as co-producers. Joey is attached as an executive producer and the movie will be produced by Neal H. Mortiz, Toby Jaffe, and Derek Kolstad.

Joey is about to begin work on Bullet Tran opposite Brad Pitt and she’ll be playing an assassin in that movie!

The cast of the upcoming assassin movie Bullet Train is shaping up and Aaron Taylor-Johnson just landed a role!

The 30-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor will be playing one of the assassins in the movie alongside Brad Pitt and Joey King, who will also play assassins, according to Deadline.

Not much is known about the plot of the film, but we do have the synopsis of the book it was based on! Deadline reports, “Five assassins find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”

Also cast in the movie is actor and martial artist Andrew Koji.

Last month, Aaron was spotted on a barefoot walk with his wife and their dogs.

Joey looked cool in a teal and blue outfit paired with white shoes and a matching white bag as she promoted her upcoming thriller movie, which she actually filmed a few years ago.

Here is the synopsis for The Lie: When their teenaged daughter (King) confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents (Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard) attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception.

If you missed it, Joey will soon start filming a very exciting new movie alongside one of last year’s Oscar-winning actors.
