Margot Robbie and John David Washington are getting ready for another day of filming!

The actors shared a laugh as they arrived on set of their upcoming untitled David O. Russell-directed movie on Tuesday afternoon (March 16) in Los Angeles.

Margot sported a short, black wig and sweats while John David wore a mask and winter coat as they headed to their trailers.

Last month, Margot and John David were spotted filming an intense scene with fellow co-star Christian Bale.

Not much is known at all about the project, other than it being called an “Untitled David O. Russell Film.”

All we actually know is that it is “based on an original idea” and on top of Margot, Christian and John David, it will also feature a ton of other A-list stars!

Samuel L. Jackson, Danielle Brooks, and John David Washington are all heading to Broadway next year… and then they’ll be turning the play into a movie!

The three actors are reportedly set to appear in a revival of the classic August Wilson play The Piano Lesson in 2022.

The Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye reports that the production will be directed by Samuel‘s wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson.

A movie version of the play is also in the works with all three actors expected to appear. A different director will helm the movie, though it will not be the previously reported Barry Jenkins.

Denzel Washington will be producing the movie and he previously had told the New York Times that Barry was in talks to direct. The actor is planning on turning all 10 plays in Wilson‘s Century Cycle into movies and he has already completed Fences and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

BroadwayWorld reports that The Piano Lesson “is set in 1936 Pittsburgh and follows the lives of the Charles family as they deal with themes of family legacy and more, in deciding what to do with an heirloom, the family piano.”

The trio of actors were seen in long trench coats and hats while walking down the street together, and the movie is looking to be in another era.

Christian was spotted with a manila folder in one hand and Margot also tried to escape the two at one moment in the scene.

Zendaya is addressing some backlash regarding her new movie.

While promoting her Netflix movie Malcolm & Marie, the 24-year-old Emmy winner addressed the age gap between she and co-star John David Washington.

If you didn’t know, there is a 12-year age difference between Zendaya and the 36-year-old actor.

For Zendaya, she believes it’s because people are still fixated on the fact that “I’ve played a 16-year-old since I was 16.”

“You have to remember, also, people grew up with me as a child,” Zendaya shared with E!’s Daily Pop. “It’s like watching, I guess, your younger sibling now, you know, they’re grown…So it’s hard for people to wrap around the idea that I am grown in real life. You know, even though I do play a teenager on television still.”

Christian Bale and Margot Robbie will be starring in an upcoming movie from five-time Oscar-nominated filmmaker David O. Russell and now 12 exciting stars have joined the cast as well.

This will be Russell‘s first movie since his 2015 film Joy, which earned Jennifer Lawrence an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. He is also known for his movies Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and The Fighter.

Not much is known yet about the upcoming movie, except for its star-studded cast. Deadline reports that the film is “based on an original idea” from the filmmaker and production has already began in California.

Christian Bale is hard at work on his new movie!

The 46-year-old actor made his his way out of the makeup trailer sporting black eye makeup while on set of his new movie on Tuesday afternoon (January 12) in Los Angeles.

Christian was seen in costume wearing white boxer shorts paired with a pink dress shirt while staying safe in an N-95 face mask.

Also seen on set with Christian were his co-stars Zoe Saldana and John David Washington, who showed off his buff muscles while changing into a suit.

It was first announced early last year that Christian would be starring in the movie directed by David O. Russell.

THR reports that the “plot details are being kept under wraps for the film,” however, Russell will write and direct the new project from an original idea.

John David Washington is addressing some backlash.

The 36-year-old actor stars opposite 24-year-old Zendaya, who plays his girlfriend in the upcoming Sam Levinson relationship drama Malcolm & Marie, which resulted in some criticism upon the debut of the trailer.

John reacted to the criticism during an interview with Variety.

“I wasn’t concerned about it because she is a woman. People are going to see in this film how much of a woman she is. She has far more experience than I do in the industry. I’ve only been in it for seven years. She’s been in it longer, so I’m learning from her. I’m the rookie,” he said.

“I was leaning on her for a lot. Some of the stories she’s shared about what she’s had to go through with Twitter and everything. I appreciated her wisdom and discernment when it comes to this business. I admire that. What I’m really excited for people to see when the film is released – they’re going to see how mature she is in this role, We’re talking about versatility, and Sam and Zendaya brought both.”

The two co-stars could make Oscars history in more than one way with their performance.
