The 39-year-old New Girl actress was Jonathan‘s date to his brother J.D. Scott‘s Halloween themed wedding.

Zooey wore a Catwoman costume while Jonathan attended the event as Batman.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever been cat-woman escorted to a fancy dress party wedding by Batman. Only for the nuptials of @mrjdscott and @annaleebelle could I be so inspired! Congrats to these gorgeous and gracious love birds, I was overjoyed to celebrate such a happy union!” Zooey wrote on her Instagram, where you can see the cute photos.

“Still processing how scared I was of these people dressed in spooky masks,” Zooey captioned some cute photos on her Instagram account.

Jonathan commented on the post and said, “Wait…you didn’t post the pic of you holding me up! 😜.”

Jonathan also posted a photo on his account and said, “So much fun last night. That high pitched scream totally wasn’t me! 😳 … Also happy to report….nobody got punched!”

Zooey Deschanel and Property Brothers‘ Jonathan Scott are in a new relationship and a source is speaking out about how their bond initially formed!

“They became friends after [appearing on Carpool Karaoke together] and then started talking as friends and realized there was more to it. It’s still a very new relationship,” a source told People of the 39-year-old actress and 41-year-old television personality.

“He makes her laugh and he’s so sweet to her. They bonded over shared love of music. He’s very close to his family and loves children,” the source added. “He lives in Las Vegas, so they’ve seen each other in L.A.” The source added that Jonathan had not met her two children, Elsie, 4, and Charlie, 2.

They added that she’s “really happy and in a good place.”

Zooey Deschanel‘s ex-husband Jacob Pechenik is speaking out after news broke of her new relationship with Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott.

The 47-year-old film producer seems to be doing well, noting that their split was amicable.

“Yeah, everything is amicable and we have two beautiful children together. We’ve been raising them and we’re going to continue to raise them, and take great care of get them…I’m happy,” Jacob told HollywoodLife.

He added that he will continue to work with Zooey on their company, Lettuce Grow, which aims to change America’s food supply chain and educate consumers about where their food comes from.

“[Zooey and I] haven’t had so many differences when it comes to the business, we both know what our strengths and weaknesses are and turn to each other for suggestions or advice on the other person’s expertise,” Jacob explained.

Zooey and Jacob got engaged back in January of 2015, and got married in June later that year. They have two children together: Elsie, 4, and Charlie, 2.
