Jada Pinkett Smith is talking all about the explosive Jordyn Woods interview immediately after the aftermath of the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal.
If you don’t know, Jada was the first person to interview Jordyn after the controversy, and we’re now learning that originally, Jada didn’t think she should be the one to conduct the interview. If you don’t know, Jordyn has a close personal relationship with Jada and Will Smith.
“What was interesting about that one is I didn’t know if I would be able to do her justice because she’s so close to me. I really wanted to see if someone else would do the interview because I also didn’t want it to feel exploitative,” Jada told Metro.
However, she changed her mind when things “transpired” behind the scenes.
Jada said, “A lot of things transpired behind the scenes that made it imperative that we do it. I really tried to wait to see if anybody else could do it. I felt like it was so new. I felt like, you’ve got one shot and I don’t know if I’m the best place for that because of our relationship. Like I said, there was so many things that transpired behind the scenes that it had to be done.”
