Joseph Gordon-Levitt Makes Television Return In First Look For Apple TV+ Series 'Mr. Corman'

Joseph Gordon-Levitt isn’t living out his dreams as he thought in the new trailer for Apple TV+’s Mr. Corman.

The upcoming series centers on Josh Corman, an artist at heart but not by trade. Things haven’t been going his way lately – his lifelong dream of a career in music didn’t pan out and he finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley, his ex-fiancé Megan has moved out and his high school buddy has moved in.

Aware that he still has a lot to be thankful for, Josh struggles nevertheless through universal feelings of anxiety, loneliness and self-doubt.

Apple describes the series as a “darkly funny, oddly beautiful and deeply heartfelt comedy-drama speaks for our contemporary generation of 30-somethings – rich with good intentions, poor with student loans and working to become grown-ups sometime before they’re senior citizens.”

Mr. Corman also stars Arturo Castro, Debra Winger, Bobby Hall aka Logic, Alexander Jo, Juno Temple, Jamie Chung, Shannon Woodward and Hector Hernandez.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Play Former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick in New Showtime Series ‘Super Pumped’

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is taking on a new role!

The 40-year-old actor is set to star as Uber’s former CEO Travis Kalanick in the upcoming Showtime anthology series Super Pumped, per Deadline.

The show is based on Mike Isaac‘s best-selling book Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber and will chart the company’s rise and fall as one of Silicon Valley’s most prolific start-ups.

Super Pumped is being helmed by Billions co-creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien and has reportedly been in development at the network since 2019. Each season of the show will focus on a story that rocked the business world and ultimately impacted the wider culture.

The director of 10 Things I Hate About You recently revealed that Joseph dated one of his co-stars from the movie!

Cynthia Erivo & Joseph Gordon-Levitt Join Disney's 'Pinocchio' as Blue Fairy & Jiminy Cricket!

The cast of Disney’s live-action Pinocchio is coming together!

A few stars joined the cast today including Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricket!

Also announced today, according to THR, are Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as the voice of Pinocchio, and Keegan-Michael Key as the voice of Honest John, and Lorraine Bracco as the voice of Sofia the Seagull, a new character.

Tom Hanks will be portraying the role of Geppetto. The movie is set to begin production this month and will debut at a later date on Disney+.

This Pinocchio project is not to be confused with a completely separate Pinocchio project in the works that has a totally different (yet still star-studded) cast!

'The Trial of the Chicago 7' Will Submit All Actors Into the Same Category at 2021 Oscars

The entire cast of the movie The Trial of the Chicago 7 will be competing in the Best Supporting Actor category at the Oscars next year.

The movie, which was written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, features 12 actors billed above the title and it’s definitely an ensemble piece. Many expected that Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne would be campaigned as lead actors while the rest of the cast would be in the supporting category.

Now, it’s been confirmed by THR that all actors will be campaigned in the supporting category. Another time that this has happened recently was with the movie Spotlight, which went on to win Best Picture.

The cast of the film includes, in alphabetical order, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sacha Baron Cohen, Danny Flaherty, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, John Caroll Lynch, Eddie Redmayne, Noah Robbins, Mark Rylance, Alex Sharp, and Jeremy Strong.

Many believe that the actors with the best chance at landing a nomination are Abdul-Mateen II, Cohen, and former winner Rylance.

The film stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Sacha Baron Cohen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Keaton, Frank Langella, John Carroll Lynch, Eddie Redmayne, Mark Rylance, Alex Sharp, Jeremy Strong, and more.
