Brave New World has been cancelled by Peacock.

The new streaming site announced on Wednesday (October 28) that they would not be renewing the show for a second season.

“There will not be Season 2 of Brave New World on Peacock,” Peacock said in a statement to Deadline. “[Showrunner] David Wiener created a thought-provoking and cinematic adaptation. We’re grateful to the cast and crew who brought this world to life. We look forward to telling more stories with David in the future.”

Based on the groundbreaking novel by Aldous Huxley, Brave New World imagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. As citizens of New London, Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd) and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) embark on a vacation to the Savage Lands, where they become embroiled in a harrowing and violent rebellion. Bernard and Lenina are rescued by John the Savage (Alden Ehrenreich), who escapes with them back to New London. John’s arrival in the New World soon threatens to disrupt its utopian harmony, leaving Bernard and Lenina to grapple with the repercussions.

The show also starred Demi Moore, Kylie Bunbury, Hannah John-Kamen, Sen Mitsuji, Joseph Morgan, and Nina Sosanya.

According to reports, Brave New World is being shopped around to different outlets.

The upcoming series Brave New World has been given a premiere date – July 15!

Jordan Peele walks the red carpet at the opening night of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood last week in Universal City, Calif.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker’s movie Us was the inspiration for a maze featured at Horror Nights and he was joined by the film’s young stars Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex to check it out.

Ghostbusters star Dan Aykroyd and director Ivan Reitman were at the event to check out that film’s new maze as well!

Some more stars in attendance at the opening were Eli Roth, Kelly Osbourne, Pete Wentz, Jaime Camil, and The Originals‘ Joseph Morgan with wife Persia White.

Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights will be open on select nights now through November 3.

The Originals‘ Joseph Morgan has landed a role in Fox’s untitled drama pilot based on the novel “Gone Baby Gone” by Dennis Lehane.

You may remember, the book also served as inspiration for the 2007 film directed by Ben Affleck and starring his brother Casey Affleck.

The show centers on “private detectives Patrick Kenzie (Morgan) and Angela Gennaro who, armed with their wits, their street knowledge and an undeniable chemistry, right wrongs the law can’t in the working-class Boston borough of Dorchester,” Deadline reports.

Joseph will be playing the role played by Casey Affleck in the 2007 movie.

Leona Lewis presents her friend Diane Warren with an award at the Mercy for Animals Hidden Heroes Gala on Saturday (September 23) in downtown Los Angeles.

Diane was awarded the Mercy for Animals Compassionate Leadership Award, which is reserved for people who are outspoken and bold: truth-tellers who never shy away from shining a light for animals.

Diane wrote Leona‘s song “You Knew Me When” from the I Am album. It was the only song on the album that Leona did not write herself.

Charles Michael Davis gets co-stars Joseph Morgan and Phoebe Tonkin together for a fun pic inside the Getty Images Portrait Studio powered by Samsung Galaxy during 2015 Comic-Con held at Hard Rock Hotel on Friday afternoon (July 10) in San Diego, Calif.

The three The Originals actors joined co-stars Daniel Gillies, Danielle Campbell, Leah Pipes, and Yusuf Gatewood before heading to a signing event with fans.
