It’s been a while since we’ve shared new photos of Josh Hutcherson, but we now have some great new pics of him enjoying the summer weather!

The 28-year-old The Hunger Games actor was spotted going shirtless during a beach day with longtime girlfriend Claudia Traisac on Friday (June 25) in Ibiza, Spain.

Josh, who put several tattoos on display, was seen jumping off a cliff with his buddies.

Josh has been dating Claudia since 2014, when they met on the set of the movie Escobar: Paradise Lost. The rest of her credits mainly include Spanish projects.

Liev Schreiber rides in the back of a vintage Buick while Josh Hutcherson drives during filming on their movie together around the Venice, Italy area on Wednesday (February 17).

The two actors made their way to Fossalta di Piave on the Piave River, which is just 30 miles north of Venice, to film a few days of scenes for Across The River and Through The Trees.

Josh and Liev were spotted driving across a pontoon bridge as they took in the picturesque scenes of the country.

Liev was also seen resting his leg on the back seat after having knee surgery earlier in the month.

Just last month, Liev was seen filming an intimate kissing scene with Matilda De Angelis, who plays Renata, the young Italian countess who his character falls in love with.

Josh Hutcherson and Liev Schreiber are enjoying their time on set together!

The pair were spotted on the set of their new film Across the River and Into the Trees on Tuesday (December 15) in Venice, Italy.

The movie takes place in post-WW2 Venice and is based on Ernest Hemingway‘s novel of the same name. Liev plays American Army Col. Richard Cantwell, a heroic war veteran visiting his old haunts in Venice whose plans change after a chance encounter with a young woman. Cantwell’s romantic interest will be portrayed by Italian actress Matilda Day Angelis, who recently played Elena Alves opposite Nicole Kidman in HBO’s The Undoing.

The film was initially announced in 2016 with Pierce Brosnan attached to star, per Deadline. Production began in October of this year under COVID-19 guidelines according to Variety.

During their international visit, Josh and Claudia were seen grabbing a bite to eat together at a local cafe before taking in the sights around the popular St. Mark’s Square.

After dining outdoors, Josh and Claudia put their face masks back on and headed towards the Grand Canal.

Just the day before, Josh and Claudia were seen around the same area and did a little retail shopping and stopped at La Perla Gallery, which is family-run store that showcases and sells handmade Burano lace.

Josh Hutcherson is sharing his thoughts on where his The Hunger Games character would be now!

The 27-year-old actor played Peeta in the film adaptations of the book series alongside Jennifer Lawrence as the heroine Katniss.

“It’s funny. ‘Cause we actually spitballed about [where the characters would end up] on set one day,” Josh told Us Weekly. “We were sort of talking about like … the Hunger Games and Peeta and Katniss are older and they have a kid and then the movie ends, but then what if we pick up the story and it’s like 10 years later and there’s a new rebellion that has to happen or something like that ended up.”

“I’d like to hope and think that they are living happily and that the world is equal and lovely. But history is doomed to repeat itself,” he added. “So I feel like there might be some more unrest that would come along.”

Josh recently opened up about meeting up with Jennifer during the quarantine.

In a recent interview, Josh revealed that he had seen Jennifer during quarantine and even had a socially-distanced dinner out with her.

“I saw Jen during quarantine — got to have dinner together,” he shared with Entertainment Tonight.

Josh added that it was around “mid-summer maybe [and] we had a nice socially-distanced dinner together. [It] was good to catch up with her because she’s been off living her life in other places all over the world.”

He also spoke about the possibility of Peeta popping up in the prequel film.

“I don’t know anything about it story-wise, but if it has to do with how we got to the world of the Hunger Games, then I think that’s going to be super-interesting,” he shared, adding that he “would like Peeta to be in it because I would like to be with these people again and work more in that world.”

Jennifer and Josh were last seen out publicly together while promoting the final movie in the Hunger Games franchise back in 2015.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Josh looked back on some of his biggest movie and television projects and revealed his time on The Hunger Games was a double edge sword.

“It was worlds apart from anything I have ever experienced. It’s like a double-edged sword,” he shared about the fame it brought him. “Obviously the benefit of having more projects come your way is great. But when I set out to become an actor at 8, being famous and being recognized was not on my radar. I just wanted to make movies.”

Josh adds, “That naiveté followed me until The Hunger Games slapped me in the face. It’s hard for anybody to digest, especially being a kid from Kentucky.”

“It made me realize the kind of actor I wanted to be. The idea of doing big, big projects that make you even more well-known doesn’t sound as appetizing. If that opportunity came up again, I would have to think about it more.”
