Julianna Margulies is Red-Hot at 'The Hot Zone' Tribeca Premiere

Julianna Margulies matches the red carpet at the premiere of her new mini-series The Hot Zone!

The 52-year-old Dietland actress was all smiles while attending Tribeca TV: The Hot Zone during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival at SVA Theater on Tuesday (April 30) in New York City.

She was joined by her co-star Noah Emmerich.

Julianna wore a one-shoulder top with matching pants and pumps, along with circular gold earrings.

The sci-fi thriller focuses on frightening spread of the EBV (Ebolavirus). It is based on the best-selling book by author Richard Preston, inspired by the true story about the Ebola virus origins and its arrival on U.S. soil in 1989.

Julianna Margulies Honors Health Professionals at Physicians for Human Rights Gala!

Julianna Margulies happily strikes a pose on the carpet while the 2019 Physicians for Human Rights Gala held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Thursday (April 11) in New York City.

The 52-year-old Good Wife actress hit the stage to present honorees Dr. Pamela McPherson and Dr. Scott Allen with their awards.

The Annual Physicians for Human Rights Gala honors the work of health professionals working on the front lines to defend human rights. The gala supports their work fighting for justice, advocating for persecuted health workers and health facilities under attack, preventing torture, sexual violence, and mass atrocities, and holding those who violate human rights accountable.

Julianna Margulies Won't Reprise 'Good Wife' Role on 'Good Fight' Because Producers 'Refused to Pay'

Julianna Margulies won’t be making an appearance on The Good Fight because she claims producers “refused to pay.”

“The showrunners had found a nice away to reintroduce my character, a story that was to span three episodes. I was really excited about the idea, but CBS refused to pay my (ask),” she told Deadline.

Apparently, she asked for a salary rate in line with what she made during The Good Wife. The Good Fight is a spinoff of The Good Wife. Instead, she was offered a guest star salary rate.

“I’m not a guest star; I started the whole thing with The Good Wife. I wanted to be paid my worth and stand up for equal pay. If Jon Hamm came back for a Mad Men spinoff or Kiefer Sutherland wanted to do a 24 spinoff, they would be paid.”

Former President Barack Obama Makes Surprise Appearance at Ripple of Hope Awards 2018!

President Barack Obama hits the stage for a speech at the 2018 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple Of Hope Awards on Wednesday night (December 12) in New York City.

The 57-year-old former president was honored as the Ripple of Hope‘s Laureate this year at the event hosted by the late Robert F. Kennedy‘s son Robert F. Kennedy Jr and his wife Cheryl Hines.

Each year, the organization celebrates leaders of the international business, entertainment, and activist communities who have demonstrated a commitment to social change and reflect Kennedy’s passion for equality, justice, basic human rights, and his belief that we all must strive to “make gentle the life of this world.”

AMC Cancels 'Dietland' After One Season

Dietland has been canceled by AMC after one season on the air.

The series starred Joy Nash and Julianna Margulies and followed a ghost-writer for the editor of a host New York fashion magazine. The 10-episode series dealt with many issues facing women today.

Dietland is bold, original and brave. We are beyond proud of our partnership with Marti Noxon, Joy Nash, Juliana Margulies, Skydance and everyone else involved in bringing Sarai Walker’s story to the screen. Similarly, Aisha Tyler and our friends at Embassy Row delivered a unique companion show that led with fresh voices and important topics. Dietland garnered critical acclaim and passionate fans but unfortunately we will not be able to continue with a second season,” AMC said in a statement (via Deadline).

Julianna Margulies Credits 'ER' Co-Star George Clooney for Saving Her Career - Watch Here!

Julianna Margulies hit Seth Meyers‘ couch on Late Night on Tuesday night (June 12) and explained how her ER co-star George Clooney saved her career back in 1994.

“No, no — let me explain,” the 52-year-old actress told Seth. “I seriously owe my career to George Clooney, because my character died in the pilot of ER. And I was about to sign on to a not-very-good sitcom, because I came back to New York and I needed a job.”

“He called me out of the blue, kinda put his neck out on the line for me, and said, ‘I overheard that your character tested well (in the pilot),’” Julianna recalled, noting that he added, “If I were you, I wouldn’t take another job because I think they’re going to bring you back to life.”

The evening before, Julianna hit the red carpet at the American Film Institute’s 2018 Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to help honor George.
