Ruth Wilson Joins Benjamin Walker at Tony Awards 2019

Ruth Wilson strikes a pose on the red carpet as she arrives at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday night (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 37-year-old actress looked pretty in a red dress as she stepped out for the awards, where she was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her role in King Lear.

Other nominees stepping out for the awards included Benjamin Walker, Julie White, Brandon Uranowitz, Heidi Schreck, and Janet McTeer.

Amanda Seyfried & Thomas Sadoski Couple Up at Second Stage Theater's 40th Birthday Gala!

Amanda Seyfried happily strikes a pose alongside her husband Thomas Sadoski while attending the Second Stage Theater’s 40th Birthday Gala held at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Monday night (May 6) in New York City.

The happy couple were joined at the event by Annette Bening, Tony Goldwyn, Kevin Bacon, Tony Shalhoub and his wife Brooke Adams, Ari Graynor, Kathy Najimy and Annie Parisse.

Also in attendance were Julie White, To Kill A Mockingbird‘s Celia Keenan-Bolger and her husband Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Betsy Wolfe, Christine Lahti, Shirley Rumierk and Maria Dizzia.

The gala honored 40 “2nd Stagers” — artists who have appeared in at least two different Second Stage productions.

The two actors are among the 21 performers who received acting nominations for their work in plays on Broadway. Adam is nominated for his work in Burn This alongside co-star Brandon Uranowitz while Ruth received a nom for King Lear.

Among the other nominees who attended the event were: To Kill a Mockingbird‘s Jeff Daniels, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and Gideon Glick, Choir Boy‘s Jeremy Pope, All My SonsAnnette Bening and Benjamin Walker, The Ferryman‘s Laura Donnelly and Fionnula Flanagan, Hillary and Clinton‘s Laurie Metcalf, What the Constitution Means to Me‘s Heidi Schreck, Ink‘s Bertie Carvel, and Gary‘s Kristine Nielsen and Julie White.

The Tony Awards will take place on June 9 at Radio City Music Hall.

Keri Russell, Hugh Dancy & Jonathan Groff Team Up For 'An American Daughter' Benefit Reading

Keri Russell, Hugh Dancy and Jonathan Groff all came together for a one-night-only event!

The three actors took center stage on Monday evening (May 8) for a benefit reading of Wendy Wasserstein’s An American Daughter held at the Tony Kiser Theatre, with proceeds going to She Should Run, a non-profit, non-partisan organization with a mission to expand the pool of female elected leaders.

Keri, Hugh and Jonathan were joined at the reading by Zoe Kazan, Victor Garber, Julie White, Max Jenkins, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Erich Bergen, Raul Esparza and Christine Lahti.

Keri‘s on-and-off-screen boyfriend Matthew Rhys also came out to show his support.
