Charlize Theron Hosts Star-Studded Screening of 'F9' in Los Angeles

Charlize Theron is celebrating the release of her new movie!

The 45-year-old actress and her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project hosted a screening of her movie F9 on Saturday (June 26) at the Universal Studios Backlot in Los Angeles.

Charlize‘s F9 co-stars Jordana Brewster and Vin Diesel were among the stars at the screening.

Fellow attendees included Charlize‘s Long Shot co-stars Seth Rogen and June Diane Raphael with her husband Paul Scheer, director Taika Waiti, Connie Britton, Chelsea Handler, January Jones, David Oyelowo and wife Jessica, Paris Jackson, and late-night talk show host Lilly Singh.

F9 is out in theaters now, and it’s set to break a new record at the pandemic-era box office!

Dakota Johnson & Tracee Ellis Ross' 'High Note' Will Be Released On Demand

Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross‘ movie The High Note will hit on-demand on May 29, skipping a theatrical release due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis (Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights, and Maggie (Johnson), her overworked personal assistant. While stuck running errands, Maggie still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace’s manager (Ice Cube) presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.

The film will be available for $19.99 for a 48 hour rental.

Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin Celebrate Sixth Season of 'Grace And Frankie'

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin kill the red carpet together at a special screening of season 6 of their Netflix show, Grace and Frankie, on Wednesday night (January 15) in Los Angeles.

The two stars were joined by co-stars Sam Waterston, Peter Gallagher, Brooklyn Decker, June Diane Raphael, Ethan Embry, and Baron Vaughn, plus showrunners Howard J. Morris and Marta Kauffman.

“Life after Grace and Frankie is a big question that’s looming over me,” Jane shared with EW about the end of the series. “I try to understand Netflix’s thinking. I guess they have all kinds of algorithms that indicate when it’s time to say goodbye to something, but I don’t like it.”

Lily adds that she’ll also be sad when it’s over: “I feel pretty sad, pretty let down. We’re going to miss the show and working together terribly.”

Grace and Frankie‘s sixth season it out NOW on Netflix.

Ed Helms Opens Up About Getting Stuck in an Elevator!

Ed Helms is spilling on a time when he got stuck in a glass elevator in front of a lot of people!

The 45-year-old The Office actor stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden for an episode that aired on Thursday (September 12).

He was there to promote his new film Corporate Animals, which takes place in a closed-off cave.

During his appearance, Ed told host James Corden about getting trapped inside a glass elevator at The Grove in Los Angeles.

“I am claustrophobic,” Ed Helms shred. “Hundreds of people are walking by … I’m panicking.”

Jordana Brewster, Amber Heard, Ashley Madekwe, and Sophia Bush pose for a photo with gun control activist Shannon Watts at the launch of her book “Fight Like a Mother” on Monday (June 10) at a private home in Brentwood, Calif.

The stars all stepped out to support the Moms Demand Action founder and volunteer at the home of fashion designer Mary Alice Haney Davidoff.

Jaime King, Brooklyn Decker, Kendrick Sampson, June Diane Raphael, AnnaLynne McCord, cute couple Lyndsy Fonseca and Noah Bean, PR exec Sahar Sanjar, and I Am a Voter founder Mandana Dayani were among the other guests at the event.

Shannon talked with THR at the event about the recent successes of Moms Demand Action.

“Bills were just sailing through state houses that were just so dangerous and so insidious that the gun lobby had been writing for years and we now have a 90 percent track record of killing those bills every year. We killed over 1,000 last year. Guns on college campuses, arming teachers, permitless carry, stand your ground,” she said.
