The third season of the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset premieres this weekend and it will follow Chrishell Stause‘s divorce from This Is Us actor Justin Hartley.

A new clip from the season has been released and Chrishell, 39, opens up about the way she found out that Justin, 42, had filed for divorce.

“I found out because he text[ed] me that we were filed. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew,” Chrishell said through tears during a conversation with co-star Mary Fitzgerald.

“Because of the crazy way in which this went down, people want answers, and I f—king want answers,” Chrishell said in the clip. “I know people are saying we were only married two years, but it’s like, we were together for six years. … In a fight, that’s his go-to, you know? Like, ‘I’m out, I’m out.’ I hate that kind of impulsive stuff, but I always just thought, you know, that’s just an issue that we work through it.”

Justin filed for divorce on November 22, 2019, but Chrishell didn’t think he was actually going to do it.

“If that’s really what you wanted, there are better ways to go about [it],” she said. “I talked to him right after ‘cause I thought that must be a joke, but that was kind of the end of the communication. What am I supposed to say? What do you say after that? It’s like, now I have to find a place to live. Now I have to scramble and figure this out, you know?”

“When I found out, I was minutes before leaving the house for work, so I immediately just grabbed a few things and I just got out of there as fast as I could,” she continued. “I don’t think I really knew where I was going or what I was gonna do, but I just had to leave… It’s so weird. Like, whose life am I living? I’ve never had an attorney in my life.”

Justin is now dating one of his former co-stars.

Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause was mistaken for Justin Hartley‘s first ex wife in an online article and she is making sure to correct the mistake.

If you don’t know, Justin‘s first ex wife, Lindsay Hartley, is temporarily replacing actress Kelly Monaco on General Hospital as Kelly deals with a health issue.

The Daily Mail posted an article about the news, except instead of using Lindsay‘s photo, they used Chrishell‘s pic.

Chrishell posted a link to the article and wrote, “Wrong ex wife.”

Justin and Chrishell‘s split came as a shock to fans when it was announced last year. Justin and Chrishell were married from 2017-2019 and Justin and Lindsay were married from 2004 to 2012.

Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming third season of Selling Sunset and as expected, Chrishell Stause‘s split from husband Justin Hartley is the main focus of the trailer.

After seeing how the Oppenheim Group is doing great business and everyone seems happy, things take a turn when the real estate agents get a news alert that says Justin has filed for divorce from Chrishell.

Clips from Christine Quinn‘s wedding are also shown and she is heard saying, “I really want to be excited for my wedding but obviously, it’s overshadowed by Chrishell’s divorce.”

At the wedding, the women are talking to Chrishell and someone says, “Obviously, Justin has his own side, right?” She gets up and leaves and says, “I don’t want to do this anymore.”

In a confessional at the end of the trailer, Chrishell says, “The crazy way in which this went down, people want answers. I want answers.” A clip from season three that was released in May has even more juicy footage about the split.

Last week, Chrishell slammed Christine over something that she said to the press about the divorce.

Season three premieres on Netflix on August 7.

Chrishell Stause is firing back at her Selling Sunset co-star Christine Quinn over what she said to the press about her divorce from ex Justin Hartley.

“We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while,” Christine told Page Six this week about Justin and Chrishell‘s split. “We heard that they were in therapy, so obviously there were some issues going on with them. … I hung out with him many times and he was an absolute doll. … He has been nothing but nice and supportive to us.”

If you don’t know, Justin and Chrishell ended their marriage in late 2019 and both listed very different dates of separation on their divorce documents.

Chrishell spoke out about Christine‘s statements, saying, “I just learned Christine is giving press ‘information’ about my divorce. Let me be VERY clear. She knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so. Anything from her is either a complete lie or total conjecture on her part.”

She said, “It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had.”

E! Online reports that Justin was kissing Sofia Pernas, who happens to be his former co-star on the CBS soap opera series The Young and the Restless. They have been following each other on Instagram for years and have been liking each other’s photos as far back as 2016.

Justin filed for divorce from his wife Chrishell Stause six months ago and she has said that she was “blindsided” by his decision to end the marriage. She also appeared on The Young and the Restless.

Chrishell now stars on the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset and the divorce is going to be a storyline for the upcoming third season.

After leaving Y&R in 2016, Sofia went on to star in the NBC series The Brave and the CBS series Blood & Treasure.
