Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are doing their part to help people in need throughout the current health crisis.

Justin just found out that the MLB will be paying players while the league is shut down so they are going to be donating all of his paychecks from this time period.

If you were wondering, Justin makes $33 million a year and he has the largest salary ever for a pitcher, according to Forbes.

“Recently the @mlb announced they will be continuing to send paychecks to players while the season is suspended. @kateupton and I have decided to donate those funds to a different organization each week so that we can support their efforts and highlight the great work they’re doing during the COVID-19 crisis,” Justin wrote on his Instagram account.

“Everyone around the world is affected by this virus, and we hope to contribute to the families and jobs affected, the healthcare workers and first responders on the front lines and the many others in need of basic necessities, medical supplies and support at home. As soon as the first paycheck is received we will be highlighting the first organization. We know everyone is impacted by this crisis, but for those who are able, we encourage you to stay home to help flatten the curve and look to those around you who need a helping hand,” he added.

Kate Upton‘s husband, Justin Verlander, is playing in the 2019 World Series with the Houston Astros, and she is actively watching and cheering on.

During the Tuesday night (October 29) game, Kate called out a rule that wasn’t followed during game six of the matchup between the Washington Nationals.

“He wasn’t within the base path. Those who don’t know the rule you HAVE to run inside the 2 lines. Not sure why the review is taking so long…” Kate tweeted.

Well, after tweeting that, Kate got a lot of hate from trolls.

She followed up later, writing, “I LOVE talking about sports and reading all of the dumb misogynist comments. It reminds me that women need to keep fighting for equality. It’s 2019 but feels like the 1950s. #feminist.”

Kate Upton took to Instagram on Thursday night (October 17) to share a super rare photo of her daughter Genevieve, 11 months, cheering on husband Justin Verlander at his baseball game.

The 26-year-old model just announced that she and husband Justin Verlander welcomed a baby girl into the world this week.

Kate gave birth to Genevieve Upton Verlander on November 7 and she shared an adorable picture to her Instagram account.

Justin also posted a photo on his account and he wrote, “Welcome to the world Genevieve Upton Verlander. You stole my ❤️ the first second I met you!!! 11.7.2018.”

This is the first child for both Kate and Justin, who got married in November 2017 in Italy.

The event was held to raise funds for adoptable dogs to become service animals for military veterans.

“Loved hosting the 4th Annual Grand Slam Adoption Event with @justinverlander! We met the most amazing adoptable dogs and hope every single one finds loving homes!” Kate wrote on Instagram.

The event took place before Justin‘s game with the Houston Astros against the Los Angeles Angels.

Kate and Justin have adopted dogs of their own, and frequently visit shelters around the country to promote dog adoption. The married couple partnered with Wins for Warriors Foundation and Astro’s Dog Day for the event, presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

“Justin and I are so grateful to everyone who came out to support the Grand Slam Adoption Event today. We hope anyone considering adding a pet to their family visits their local shelter to save a life,” Kate said at the event.
