Kali Uchis is a Grammy winner!

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter took home her first-ever Grammy Award on Sunday (March 14).

Kali Uchis won Best Dance Recording for “10%” with Kaytranada. The song is featured on Kaytranada‘s second studio album Bubba, which was released in December of 2019. Kali‘s latest album, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), was released back in November of 2020.

“WE WON THE GRAMMY WHATTTTTTTTTTTT !!! AHHHHH” she reacted on Twitter. The two also excitedly celebrated with a FaceTime call, which was shared on social media.

“History was made,” Kali declares in the cute celebratory clip.

The 39-year-old That ’70s Show actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Diane Guerrero, Moisés Arias, Mateo Arias, Daniel Dae Kim and singer Kali Uchis, who makes her acting debut in the film.

“THIS WEEKEND!! Our movie @blast_beat_film is in #Sundance 2020! CATEGORY: U.S. Dramatic Competition. A MACRO production,” Wilmer captioned with a photo on Instagram of the film. “Blast Beat, a drama which was directed by Esteban Arango, who also co-wrote the piece with Erick Castrillon. MACRO’s Charles D. King and Poppy Hanks are producing the project with Erick Castrillon and Ty Walker. It’s described as an energetic, youth-driven, metal-blasting coming of age story that follows two Colombian brothers as they adjust to life in the US of A.”

Kali Uchis is back with her first new music since 2018!

The Grammy-and Latin Grammy-nominated artist has just dropped “Solita,” her latest since the 2018 release of her massively acclaimed debut album Isolation on Interscope Records.

Kali Uchis stopped by SiriusXM Hollywood Studio and the CALI93 Morning Show on Wednesday (December 4) to promote “Solita” in Los Angeles.

“I’d rather dance alone then with the devil,” Kali said in a statement for the track. “This song is about healing, freedom and embracing the mixed emotions that come with that. I hope my fans feel sexy when they listen to it. I’m so excited to share more.”

Donald Glover sports a fresh new look at the Academy Award and Multi-Grammy Nominee Ludwig Göransson’s Grammy Celebration!

The 35-year-old Atlanta star (aka Childish Gambino) stepped out with the 34-year-old Swedish composer at the event held on Thursday (February 7) in Los Angeles.

Donald had his beard bleached blonde as he joined enjoyed his night with his younger brother Stephen Glover.

Also in attendance were Miguel, Kali Uchis, Jorja Smith, Terry Crews, Hannibal Buress, and Nazanin Mandi.

Donald and Ludwig are nominated for Song of the Year for “This Is America” as well as Best R&B song for “Feels Like Summer” at the 2019 Grammys. Ludwig is also up for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media for Black Panther.

Kali Uchis just announced the release of her debut album, Isolation!

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter revealed the track listing for her forthcoming album on Friday (March 23), which includes collaborations with Jorja Smith, Steve Lacy, Tyler, The Creator and Bootsy Collins.

The album is described as an “open journal,” featuring tracks like the Thundercat-produced “Body Language” and “Killer,” which was recorded with The Dap-Kings. The album also includes the previously released “After The Storm” with Tyler and Bootsy.
