Kate Beckinsale responded perfectly to a comment on her Instagram post asking for justice for EMT and aspiring nurse Breonna Taylor, who was killed by police in March in her own home.

“She protected you and your city. Now it’s your responsibility to show her the same respect,” the post from Kate said, addressing the mayor of Louisville, Greg Fischer.

A troll posted the offensive comment “all lives matter” on the post and Kate responded.

“What’s really sad is you being pushy on a post about a woman’s death and saying ‘what about someone else’ actually does a disservice to the person you are trying to illuminate,” Kate wrote in a response to that comment.

The 46-year-old actress and the 22-year-old musician were seen out in her neighborhood on Tuesday (May 12) in Pacific Palisades, Calif. amid the global health crisis.

They were spotted in gloves and masks for their outing. The two were first spotted holding hands last month.

“It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who’s having any fun at all. And by that, I don’t mean doing drugs and drinking and partying, because I never am, but being goofy, and going out, and not going, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting.’ Unless you’re doing that, it somehow seems to be risqué, which is just ridiculous to me,” she recently told Women’s Health of the double standard in dating between men and women.

“And I witness men constantly doing whatever they like, whether that’s in relationships, or deciding to buy a motorbike, or getting a tattoo. It hasn’t been interpreted as, ‘Why hasn’t he had more children?’ or, ‘Is he ever going to decide to become a parent?’ or, ‘Why has he had so many girlfriends?’”

If you’re strangling a squirrel or hurting someone, I get it, but living one’s life in a reasonably respectful manner shouldn’t invite anyone to get too excited.”

Kate Beckinsale is enjoying life under quarantine with boyfriend Goody Grace!

According to a source close to the couple, the 46-year-old actress and 22-year-old musician are “still quarantined together at her home.”

“Kate enjoys his company,” the source shared with People. “She finds him very mature, smart and creative. He entertains her with music, they cook and watch movies. She thinks he is the perfect quarantine boyfriend.”

Kate and Goody were first photo spotted together holding hands last month during a hike in Los Angeles. An insider then confirmed that the two have been quietly dating since the beginning of the year.

The other day, Kate posted a video on Instagram in which she tried to get her cat to sit in a square she made on the floor out of tape.

“Try and see if your new tom boy will adhere,” someone wrote in the comments. Kate clapped back, “Try and see if you can spell and not just goon yourself straight out the gate.”

The commenter seemingly meant to say “boy toy” and not “tom boy.”

Kate Beckinsale has a new man in her life, 22-year-old Canadian musician Goody Grace, and now a source is speaking out about how long they have been seeing each other.

“She has been dating him since the beginning of the year. They have fun and Kate seems happy. His age is not an issue for her. It’s just a number,” a source told People about the couple.

The source added that Goody “is talented, driven and mature beyond his age.”

“They are quarantined together at Kate’s house right now,” the source added.
