Kate Hudson has joined the cast of the Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told for the upcoming second season!

The 41-year-old Oscar-nominated actress was previously a guest star on Glee in season four, but this will be her first series regular role on television.

Octavia Spencer will return for season two as true crime podcaster Poppy Parnell.

Variety reports that Kate will play “Micah Keith, a lifestyle guru and longtime friend of Poppy’s as a new case that deeply involves both women unfolds and quickly puts their relationship to the ultimate test.”

Production on the second season of Truth Be Told is scheduled to begin on October 26 in Los Angeles.

Kate and her longtime friend Gwyneth Paltrow revealed their worst on-screen kisses this week in a new podcast.

Gwyneth Paltrow was joined by Kate Hudson on her Goop podcast this week, and the two actresses opened up about their worst on-screen kisses.

Turns out that both Gwyneth and Kate weren’t really into the kisses they shared with some of their more famous co-stars – Robert Downey, Jr., and Matthew McConaughey.

“Honestly, I feel like I kind of haven’t had the best kissers,” Kate shared with Gwyneth. “I feel like I should have had better ones.”

Gwyneth then asked Kate about Matthew, who she’s starred with in Fool’s Gold and How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days.

“Every time I kiss McConaughey, I mean, it’s like there’s just something happening and there’s like snot or wind,” she confessed. “Like when we were kissing, like, in the end of Fool’s Gold, we’re like in the ocean, we had the plane crash, he just had snot all over his face.”

Gwyneth added about her own worst kiss with Robert in Avengers: “With Robert, like, when I kissed him, I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,” she recalled. “This is literally like kissing my brother.’”

Kate Hudson has a feeling that Andie and Ben from How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days are miserable today.

The 41-year-old actress spoke with Elle magazine and revealed her ideas of where the iconic couple are at in 2020.

“I’ve always thought about what Matthew [McConaughey] and I’s characters would be now, if we were still together,” she says. “It’s actually probably a good amount of time [that has passed] to make a movie about it. We probably would have gotten married with kids. We’re probably miserable right now!”

Kate imagined that Andie would even have a career change.

“I think Andie Anderson is ambitious, and she was wanting to go places, and she was sort of stuck in this job,” she added. “I loved what we created with that movie. And she found love that would support her ambitions. Andie would probably be running something at this point.”

Kate‘s brand Fabletics recently cut ties with a controversial star following a big news story.

Kate Hudson‘s athleticwear brand Fabletics has cut ties with YouTuber Myka Stauffer.

If you don’t know, last week, it was revealed that Myka and her husband rehomed their three-year-old son Huxley after adopting him from China. Since they announced this news, they received a ton of backlash for their decision.

Now, Fabletics will no longer be working alongside Myka in any fashion after this news. The brand responded to a comment on Kate Hudson’s Instagram to confirm this news.

Other brands that have cut ties with Myka include Playtex Baby, Chili’s Suave and Big Lots.
