That same evening, Aubrey made an appearance on CONAN and talked about how The Catholic League condemned the film, calling it “trash. Pure trash.”

“They haven’t even seen it yet so maybe they should wait and see it before they get angry. We just thought let’s be honest, we don’t have any secrets here,” Aubrey told Conan. “I just want everyone to like it. If they like it they like it, you know, get over it if they don’t. It’s not an indictment on Christianity or the church, it’s a historical depiction of nuns from the middle ages and its accurate what happens in the film. I’m being serious.”

FYI: Molly is wearing a Maje dress.

Aubrey Plaza & Alison Brie Are Naughty Nuns in 'Little Hours' Red Band Trailer!

Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza are up to no good as nuns in the red band trailer for their new movie The Little Hours.

The ladies star alongside Kate Micucci as medieval nuns who lead a simple life in their convent. Their days are spent chafing at monastic routine, spying on one another, and berating the estate’s day laborer. After a particularly vicious insult session drives the peasant away, Father Tommasso (John C. Reilly) brings on new hired hand Massetto (Dave Franco), a virile young servant forced into hiding by his angry lord. Introduced to the sisters as a deaf-mute to discourage temptation, Massetto struggles to maintain his cover as the repressed nunnery erupts in a whirlwind of pansexual horniness, substance abuse, and wicked revelry.

Molly Shannon, Fred Armisen, Jemima Kirke, Nick Offerman, Adam Pally, and more round out the star studded cast of the indie film, set for a release in limited theaters on June 30.
