Julianna Margulies carries her new Emmy statuette while jetting out of LAX Airport on Tuesday (August 26) in Los Angeles.

The 48-year-old actress was joined by her handsome husband Keith Lieberthal, who is a lawyer.

The night before, Julianna won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on The Good Wife, beating out Masters of Sex‘s Lizzy Caplan, Homeland‘s Claire Danes, Downton Abbey‘s Michelle Dockery, Scandal‘s Kerry Washington, and House of Cards‘ Robin Wright at the 2014 Emmy Awards.

“I work hard and I’m there every day and I love my job,” Julianna shared after winning an Emmy. “There are days when I don’t know when I’m coming or going, so this moment is extra sweet. That being said, I wouldn’t want any other job. If it could be 10 to 12 hours a day instead of 14.”More Here! »

The 48-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her handsome hubby Keith Lieberthal.

Julianna is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on the fifth season of The Good Wife and she is the favorite to win! She is nominated against Masters of Sex‘s Lizzy Caplan, Homeland‘s Claire Danes, Downton Abbey‘s Michelle Dockery, Scandal‘s Kerry Washington, and House of Cards‘ Robin Wright.

Minnie Driver, who is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her work in Lifetime’s Return to Zero, was in attendance at the event as well.

While on the red carpet Julianna met up with legendary actress Cloris Leachman.

Julianna Margulies and her hubby Keith Lieberthal enjoy the romantic atmosphere as they tour some great sights in Rome, Italy on Saturday (June 21).

The 48-year-old The Good Wife actress recently chatted about her hit television show.

When asked by TV Line about having to do long 22 episode seasons, Julianna replied, “I’m never worried about burning out. I’m worried about exhaustion. I think if I didn’t love the character so much and if I didn’t love the material so much I probably would worry about burnout. And there are days that are harder than others. And then there are days where it’s just so fulfilling that it outweighs the fatigue. I remember coming home after a 15-hour day and my husband said, ‘Why are you smiling?’ And I said, ‘Because I was shooting scenes with Jeffrey Tambor and Christine Baranski and Alan Cumming and all these incredible actors.’ There’s an incredible fuel that happens. This doesn’t mean you’re not tired, for sure, but it’s an exciting energy and it’s fulfilling.”

The mission of Education Through Music (ETM) is to form long-term partnerships with New York City schools to help principals establish and sustain school-wide music education programs that reach every student.
