Kellan Lutz has some exciting news – he’s a dad!

The 35-year-old actor and his wife Brittany just welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Ashtyn Lilly. She was born on Monday, February 22.

Brittany wrote on Instagram, “The day she came into the world it was snowing, raining, and freezing, but that night she was born and we woke up to sun, clear skies, and winter melting away. It was so symbolic considering this time last year was literally winter for our souls only to be met one year later with the brightest sunshine. She ushered in a new season for us and we love her beyond comprehension.”

She concluded her post, “God redeems. He restores. He never leaves us broken-hearted, we just have to give Him the broken pieces and what He turns it into? Wow.”

Kellan reposted Brittany‘s post and simply added, “Birth is amazing!!!♥️🙏.”

This is the first child for the couple, who have been married since 2017. They sadly suffered a miscarriage almost exactly one year ago.

This is so sweet – Kellan Lutz wrote a cute little script to reveal the sex of his upcoming baby with wife Brittany.

“WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Written & directed by the hottest baby daddy @kellanlutz,” Brittany captioned the video sketch on her Instagram account.

At the end of the cute video, Brittany reveals that she’s wearing a sweatshirt that reads “Girl Mom,” indicating their baby on the way is a baby girl.

Kellan and Brittany revealed their pregnancy back in September after suffering a devastating miscarriage earlier in the year. Brittany suffered the miscarriage when she was far along in the pregnancy.

Twilight actor Kellan Lutz has some amazing news to share – his wife Brittany is pregnant!

The couple announced the news during an Instagram Live on Friday (September 4), which ended with them revealing the pregnancy.

Kellan and Brittany suffered a devastating miscarriage six months into her pregnancy earlier this year. (See what Kellan said to fans after the difficult moment in their lives)

“This is not a drill. This is not a throwback,” Brittany said. Kellan added, “This is real life… we’re pregnant again. For those that don’t know, we are pregnant.”

“Thank you all for lining with us, praying for us, supporting us. We’re so excited,” Kellan said.

Brittany added, “It was a surprise. You know, obviously it was a surprise losing our daughter at the beginning of the year. That was tough, and still is. There still are hard moments. We definitely went through a lot and I still would like to share my journey in some way that I can in the future.”

“Here we are with another little promise!” she said.

Kellan Lutz has revealed he’s reading “Midnight Sun,” which is the companion novel to the 2005 book “Twilight!” This book is told from the perspective of Edward Cullen.

“It’s here it’s finally here😎 @midnightsuntwilightsaga,” Kellan posted on Instagram. “I love learning more about Emmett while reading this book and Edwards thoughts! So good! @twilight”
