Margot Robbie keeps it chic while striking a pose at the Gabrielle Chanel Essence Launch Dinner hosted by Chanel at the Chateau Marmont Hotel on Thursday (September 12) in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star was joined at the event by Glen Powell, Camila Morrone, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Ray Nicholson, Emile Hirsch, Silvia Hoeks, Pom Klementieff, Kelly Sawyer Patricof, Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, Rachel Zoe, Samantha Ronson and French perfumer Olivier Polge.

Also in attendance to show their support were the ladies of HAIM – Alana Haim, Este Haim and Danielle Haim, and rising pop singer CYN.

Margot Robbie opened up about her involvement as the company’s brand ambassador before hosting the private dinner: “It’s a time of my life where I’m settled into who I am as a woman,” she said. “I’m constantly creatively inspired by things happening around me and the people I’m meeting. In some ways, that translates to Gabrielle Chanel in a time when she was doing this I suppose.”

The three Baby2Baby ambassadors were in attendance to celebrate the donation of One Million backpacks from Baby2Baby, Kawhi Leonard and the L.A. Clippers to students across Los Angeles.

At the event, Kawhi Leonard, the L.A. Clippers Foundation and non-profit community partner Baby2Baby, announced a gift of one million backpacks intended to reduce stress on low-income families headed back to school across Southern California. Every single student in the Moreno Valley Unified, Inglewood Unified and Los Angeles Unified School Districts will receive a new backpack to start the school year.

“My goal this year is to make a meaningful contribution both on and off the court. This felt like the right way to get started,” Kawhi Leonard said in a statement. “It was important to me to make this announcement in my hometown of Moreno Valley at my former Elementary School, but the benefits this program will have across all of Los Angeles makes today even more special.”

The ladies were also joined at the event by Baby2Baby co-founder Kelly Sawyer, Joy Bryant and stylist Jamie Mizrahi as they stepped out in support of designer Brett Heyman, founder of luxury cannabis brand Edie Parker Flower and premium accessories brand Edie Parker.

“Some of them are old friends,” said Heyman after posing for photographs with the women (via WWD). “Sophia [Bush] is an old friend, and Erin [Foster] is an old friend. Fran we invited, because she’s a very vocal cannabis advocate — same with Busy [Philipps].”

“We were expanding our home line, thinking about entertaining at home and hostess gifts — the use of cannabis is often part of my entertaining at home — thinking about what was available for women who are unblushingly feminine and love beautiful things and had the craftsmanship that our accessories have, and that’s how the idea started,” continued Heyman. “It has the same ethos as our accessories brand, which is for a good time — beautiful pieces that make you happy. And then, we wanted to make a really high-quality flower to go with it.”

Gwyneth Paltrow hosts a Goop panel in celebration of her summer campaign with Flow Alkaline Spring Water on Thursday (June 6) at The Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles.

The new campaign featured Gwyneth highlighting Flow’s naturally occurring essential minerals, electrolytes and an alkaline pH of +/- 8.1.
