Kevin Coster and Diane Lane‘s Let Him Go is on top at the box office.

The Focus Features film brought in an estimated $4.1 million amid the election results and the pandemic, Variety reported Sunday (November 8).

Here’s a plot summary: “Let Him Go stars Kevin Costner as a retired sheriff and Diane Lane as his wife. The couple leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living in the Dakotas — a confrontation that ends in violence.”

“At this point, exhibitors will take what they can get in terms of ticket sales, but with box office grosses like these, it’s going to be a long, potentially deadly winter for theaters,” Variety said of the box office results amid the coronavirus health crisis.

One theater chain is now doing this to combat the decline in moviegoers amid the pandemic.

Amanda Seyfried and Milo Ventimiglia walk the red carpet at the premiere of their movie The Art of Racing in the Rain on Thursday (August 1) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The co-stars were joined at the premiere by two adorable golden retrievers. The film is about a dog who learns that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate the journey of life.

Kevin Costner voices the dog in the movie and he was joined by wife Christine Baumgartner and their kids at the event. Also in attendance were co-star Gary Cole and director Simon Curtis.

Milo‘s This Is Us co-stars Susan Kelechi Watson and Logan Shroyer were there, as well as Wilmer Valderrama.

Did you know Princess Diana almost starred in the The Bodyguard sequel?

The original 1992 film’s star, Kevin Costner, 64, made the revelation in a new interview with People.

Diana‘s role would have been similar to Whitney Houston’s.

“Sarah [Ferguson, aka "Fergie"] was really important,” Kevin explained. “I always respect Sarah because she’s the one that set up the conversation between me and Diana. She was the one that set it up, and she never said, ‘Well, what about me? I’m a princess too.’ She was just so supportive of the idea.”

“I just remember [Diana] being incredibly sweet on the phone, and she asked the question, she goes, ‘Are we going to have like a kissing scene?’” Kevin continued. “She said it in a very respectful way. She was nervous because her life was very governed. And I said, ‘Yeah, there’s going to be a little bit of that, but we can make that okay too.’”

Kevin previously revealed, in a 2012 interview for Anderson Cooper’s talk show, Anderson, that the sequel would have focused on his Bodyguard character, Frank Farmer, “protecting Diana’s character from paparazzi and stalkers before their relationship turned romantic.”

Kevin Costner obtained the script for the sequel in August 1997, the day before Princess Diana tragically died in a car crash in Paris.

Yellowstone has been picked up for a third season!

Paramount Network made the announcement about the drama series on Wednesday (June 19), Variety reports.

Season three will feature 10 episodes, just like season two, which premieres tonight at 10 p.m. ET.

Yellowstone stars Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes, and Kevin Costner, along with Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Danny Huston, and Gil Birmingham.

It tells the story of a ranching family in Montana who faces off against others encroaching on their land.

Milo Ventimiglia and a Kevin Costner-voiced Golden Retriever are our new favorite racing duo!

The first trailer for Disney’s upcoming The Art of Racing in the rain has been released.

The film follows a dog named Enzo (Costner) and his best friend and owner, Denny Swift (Ventimiglia), an aspiring Formula One race car driver, as they navigate the journey of life and the loves of Denny’s life – his wife, Eve (Amanda Seyfried), their young daughter Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong).

The Art of Racing in the Rain hits theaters on August 9.

Woody Harrelson, Kathy Bates, and Kevin Costner hit the red carpet at The Highwaymen premiere on Sunday night (March 10) at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.

The co-stars hit the red carpet as they premiered their upcoming Netflix movie at the 2019 SXSW Festival.

Also at the premiere was Scott Stuber – the head of original films at Netflix.

The Highwaymen follows two Texas Rangers as they hunt down the notorious bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.

The Highwaymen hits Netflix on March 29.

Kevin Costner is celebrating the premiere of his new show Yellowstone!

The 63-year-old actor stepped out at the show’s premiere on Monday (June 11) at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles.

Kevin was joined by his co-stars Kelly Reilly, Dave Annable, Kelsey Asbille, Wes Bentley, Ian Bohen and Luke Grimes.

The new Paramount Network show follows a ranching family in Montana as they face off against others encroaching on their land including land developers, an Indian reservation and America’s first National Park.

Yellowstone premieres on June 20th.
