John Mayer Celebrates His New Album With Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello & More

John Mayer brought together all of his celebrity friends for his “Sob Rock” Listening Party held at San Vicente Bungalows on Thursday night (July 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 43-year-old musician hosted Dave Chappelle, Kiernan Shipka, Lil Nas X, and couple Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello for the listening event.

Following the release of John‘s new album, he also announced a tour in support of the record.

The upcoming concerts will kick off on February 17, 2022 at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, and wrap in April in Chicago.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale next Friday, July 23 on his official website.

In addition to tickets, a limited number of VIP packages will also be available starting next week, and John also has plans to auction off two pairs of front row tickets for each show with proceeds benefiting the Back to You Fund.

The worlds of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Sabrina the Teenage Witch are colliding in the final season of the Netflix series!

Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick, who played the roles of aunties Hilda and Zelda Spellman on the original Sabrina series, will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of CAOS.

“Sabrina, is that you?” Zelda (Broderick) says in the clip. “There you are. Where were you? We were getting worried.”

“Not me, I haven’t been worried since bottomless mimosas,” Hilda (Rhea) says.

Then, a very confused Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) says, “Sorry, who are you?”

If you remember, Caroline and Beth starred in the Sabrina, The Teenage Witch series for seven seasons, from 1996-2003, with Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina. You can watch the whole series now on Hulu!

Gugu Mbatha-Raw to Star in 'Blood Ties' Movie with Kiernan Shipka & Cole Sprouse!

Gugu Mbatha-Raw has landed the lead role in the upcoming movie Blood Ties, a dramatic film based on an article in the New Yorker by Nathan Heller.

The movie will be written and directed by Gemini‘s Aaron Katz. Riverdale‘s Cole Sprouse and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s Kiernan Shipka will play a couple in the movie.

Deadline reports that Gugu will play “Detective Reese Rezek, who obsessively investigates the brutal murders of Nancy and Derek Haysom, a seemingly ordinary couple in suburban Virginia. As Reese unravels dark possibilities behind their deaths, two suspects emerge: their daughter, Lizzy (Shipka), and her boyfriend, Jens (Sprouse). Before they can be arrested, the young couple flees for Europe, drawing Reese into an international manhunt and a years-long search for the truth that spanned from 1985-91.”

Blood Ties is expected to be sold at the Toronto Film Festival market.

Netflix Cancels 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' After Two Seasons

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is officially over.

TVLine announced that the series, starring Kiernan Shipka, will end after the upcoming part four (season two), which is set to premiere later this fall.

“Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from Day One,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared in a statement. “The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy.”

He added, “I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show. I’m also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can’t wait for everyone to see Part Four.”

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will return for its final eight (8) episodes this fall where the series will focus on The Eldritch Terrors who “descend upon Greendale and the coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. Swimming With Sharks isn’t exactly about going swimming with sharks, but it looks like that could have been something they did that day!
