Sarah Jessica Parker Reflects on Kim Cattrall Drama

Sarah Jessica Parker was asked about the drama between her and her former Sex and the City co-star, Kim Cattrall.

If you don’t know, months ago, Kim said that she was never friends with her co-stars and the relationships felt “toxic.” Then, earlier this month, Kim‘s brother suddenly passed away and Sarah Jessica wrote a comment on Kim‘s Instagram post, expressing her condolences and seemingly, mending their broken relationship. Later on, Kim suddenly lashed out at SJP for “exploiting” her family’s tragedy.

SJP was asked by Vulture, “Do you see any resolution with the Kim CattrallSex and the City 3 situation?”

“I’d just like to remind everybody that there is no catfight. I have never uttered an unkind, unsupportive, unfriendly word, so I would love to redefine it. I also want to remind everybody that there were four women on the set and I spent equal time with all of them, so this was not a set with two women who didn’t get along. I’ve always held Kim’s work in high regard and always appreciative of her contributions. If she chooses not to do the third movie, there’s not a lot I can do to change her mind and we must respect it. That’s the only thing I’ve ever said about it, you know?,” Sarah Jessica said.

Sarah Jessica continued, “The three of us have shared our disappointment that we’re not making that movie, not just on our behalf but our crew, but also just the people that have been vocal about wanting to see it. But we still live in a free country where people get to make choices and sometimes the answer is ‘no,’ and the only way to respond for me is to respect that.”

Finally, she added, “But, no, there is no catfight, there never has been a catfight. I’ve never fought with someone publicly in my life, nor would I. And I spent time with all of the women on the set. People need to recall that it wasn’t just two women on the set fighting because that just never happened. We are enormously proud of what we got to do and I don’t want someone sharing thoughts publicly, which is Kim’s right to do and that is what it is, but we spent 10, 12 years of our life doing something that I really loved and I feel privileged to be part of and I don’t want this to eclipse it or change its experience for that audience that was so good to us for so long.”

Kim Cattrall Reveals What She Thinks of Cynthia Nixon's Governor Run

If you missed it, Cynthia‘s other Sex and the City co-star Kristin Davis also supported her run for Governor.

Cynthia posted a photo of her reuniting with her Sex and the City co-star on Instagram hours ago. Fans think it’s a definite sign that Cynthia is firmly in Sarah Jessica‘s corner when it comes to her feud with Kim Cattrall.

Sex & the City's Jason Lewis Answers If He's Team Sarah Jessica Parker or Team Kim Cattrall

Jason Lewis famously played the role of sexy Smith Jerrod on Sex and the City and he was just asked about the Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker feud.

From his answers, it seems like Jason is a fan of Sarah Jessica!

First, when asked about the feud, he told KTLA 5, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”

When pressed further, Jason responded, “I would have to say that Sarah was always just so lovely and such a consummate professional, and I think that people should remember their graciousness and the things that have been given to them. And I’m going to stop there because I’ve got nothing good to say.”

He was then asked to confirm if he’s on “Team Parker,” to which he responded, “I might just have to say yeah. What a gracious lady. She was always so good to me.”

Then, when asked if other people weren’t as good to him, he then responded, “Sarah was amazing.”

If you don’t know, Kim recently re-ignited her feud with Sarah Jessica in a public Instagram post.

Sarah Jessica Parker Speaks to Kim Cattrall Drama

Sarah Jessica Parker addressed some of the drama between her and Kim Cattrall, specifically what happened when Kim said she had a “toxic” relationship with her Sex and the City co-stars.

SJP also addressed the rumors that there was a fight over a potential Sex and the City 3 movie.

“I never talked about it, except [to say] that some of us were disappointed [about the movie not happening],” Sarah Jessica told People after rumors that emerged about Kim and some diva demands on set and the downfall of the third movie.

“But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me. We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it. We had a connection with an audience, and we had a connection with the city and with this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other. So I don’t want to mess with that. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing that part. So there was no fight; it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded. And I won’t, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege,” Sarah Jessica continued.

More recently, Kim called out Sarah Jessica again.

Earlier this month, Kim‘s brother suddenly passed away and Sarah Jessica wrote a comment on Kim‘s Instagram post, expressing her condolences and seemingly, mending a broken relationship.

Later, Kim thanked Sarah Jessica for her kind words, but then suddenly, Kim lashed out at SJP for “exploiting” her family’s tragedy.

Kim Cattrall Responds to Cynthia Nixon Amid Sarah Jessica Parker Feud

Kim Cattrall responded to Cynthia Nixon in a very different way than she responded to Sarah Jessica Parker.

Earlier this month, Kim‘s brother suddenly passed away and two of her former Sex and the City co-stars, Cynthia and Sarah Jessica wrote comments on Kim‘s Instagram post, expressing condolences.

“Hey Kim, such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love. XO,” Cynthia wrote. Sarah Jessica posted, “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”

Later, Kim thanked Sarah Jessica and Cynthia publicly for their kind words, but then suddenly, Kim lashed out at SJP for “exploiting” her family’s tragedy.

According to Us Weekly, Kim wrote in response to Cynthia‘s comment, “Cynthia, hearing your voice meant so much to me. Thank you for reading out. Love Kim.” It appears as of right now, Kim has decided to prohibit commenting on her Instagram posts, so we cannot verify that Kim left the comment at this time.
