Andy Cohen Weighs In on Kim Cattrall & Sarah Jessica Parker's Feud

Andy Cohen is weighing in on the feud between his friend Sarah Jessica Parker and her former Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall.

If you don’t know, months ago, Kim said that she was never friends with her co-stars and the relationships felt “toxic.” Then, earlier this month, Kim‘s brother suddenly passed away and Sarah Jessica wrote a comment on Kim‘s Instagram post, expressing her condolences and seemingly, mending a broken relationship.

Later, Kim thanked Sarah Jessica for her kind words, but then suddenly, Kim lashed out at SJP for “exploiting” her family’s tragedy.

Andy spoke about Kim and Sarah Jessica‘s situation on Andy Cohen Live, on his exclusive SiriusXM channel “Radio Andy.”

“I thought it was fake,” Andy said about waking up to the news that Kim ignited their feud again. “There was no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on her Instagram.”

“She expressed her condolences on the post … I would not call that exploiting a tragedy,” Andy continued. “What was [Sarah Jessica] supposed to do? Say something bad? I don’t understand.”

“I also don’t like it that people are characterizing this as a fat catfight. There’s only one person fighting here,” he added.

“My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona,” she wrote.

Kim recently lost her brother, Chris.

She also included a link to a New York Post article in her post.

Sarah Jessica Parker Responds to Kim Cattrall's 'Sex & the City' Diss

Sarah Jessica Parker is responding to Kim Cattrall saying they were never friends on the set of Sex and the City. Kim also said the relationships with her co-stars felt “toxic.”

The 52-year-old actress went on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday (January 31) and said she was “heartbroken” over Kim‘s comments.

“I found it very upsetting because that’s not the way I recall our experience. It’s sad, but I always think that what ties us together was this singular experience. It was a professional experience but it became personal because it was years and years of our lives, so I hope that that eclipses anything that’s been recently spoken. That many years spent doing something so special that people had a connection with it is such a privilege,” Sarah Jessica said.
