The Van Der Beek family is on the move!

James Van Der Beek took to Instagram on Saturday (September 30) to reveal that he, wife Kimberly, and their five kids are moving out of Los Angeles.

“Sometimes a fuller life begins with an empty house. Leaving Los Angeles incredibly grateful for all the friends and memories we’ve made here. Onto the next big adventure! ❤️” the 43-year-old Dawson’s Creek actor wrote.

Along with a post, James shared a cute photo of his kids – Olivia, 10, Joshua, 8, Annabel, 6, Emilia, 4, and Gwendolyn, 2 – kissing and saying goodbye to a tree on their property along with a few photos of their empty home.

On her own Instagram, Kimberly revealed that they are moving to Texas.

“Today we left our home in Beverly Hills to embark on a new adventure in Texas,” Kimberly wrote. “As we began our 10 day road trip we decided to adopt two new rescue pups from @wagmorpets to bring along and bond on this journey. Their names are Windsor (blue eyed gray one) and Able. Able means breath. And we need a lot of breath right now. Rocky and Skye bonded with them right away…!!! 🤗. We will document this trip in hopes that it can bring a smile to your face during such an uncertain time in the world. With love from our family to yours, thank you for your support on this journey. ✌️ Los Angeles. ‘Twas a good run.”

James Van Der Beek has announced the devastating news that his wife Kimberly has suffered another miscarriage.

The couple previously went through a very public miscarriage in November 2019 while he was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. This is her fifth miscarriage in nine years.

James and Kimberly decided not to be public about their pregnancy this time around, but sadly they lost the baby at 17 weeks into the pregnancy.

“After suffering a brutal, very public miscarriage last November, we were overjoyed to learn we were pregnant. This time, we kept the news to ourselves. But last weekend, once again, 17 weeks in… the soul we’d been excited to welcome into the world had lessons for our family that did not include joining us in a living physical body,” James wrote on Instagram.

“We rushed @vanderkimberly to the hospital by ambulance for another harrowing night of blood transfusions. And as I stood by, grateful for the good people who navigated the maze of regulations to save her life – but helpless to do much for the woman I loved other than massage her feet and try to keep her warm (with my #DWTS robe, ironically) – something kept running through my head, again and again, which I now feel compelled to share: We’ve got to take better care of each other,” he added.

“The world is in pain right now. There’s denial, shock, numbness, anger – all the old patterns we cling to when deep trauma is unearthed. And there are no words to ease that pain… to make the process hurt less or to solve it quickly. But the way out of it? Starts with an open, broken-hearted contemplation of this question: How can we take better care of each other?” James said. “And to all the families who have gone through this… you are not alone. 🌈.”

James and Kimberly are the parents of five children – Olivia, 9, Joshua, 8, Annabel, 6, Emilia, 4, and Gwendolyn, 2.

It’s a Twilight reunion!

Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene reunited at Rachel Zoe‘s Spring Box of Style Launch Party held inside Bungalow 1 at the iconic Chateau Marmont on Thursday (March 12) in Los Angeles.

James Van Der Beek tearfully revealed on last night’s Dancing With the Stars that he and his wife Kimberly have lost the baby that they were expecting.

Kimberly later said on Instagram that she almost died over the weekend and that the baby was going to be a boy.

After the show, James posted about the devastating news on his Instagram page and many celebs have left comments to express their love and support for him and his family.

“Thank you to all of our friends and co-workers (and dance partners) who have shown up for us so beautifully during this time. As many of you have said, ‘There are no words…’ and it’s true. Which is why in a time like this it’s enough to know that you’re there. Grieving AND counting our blessings today,” James wrote on Instagram.

Kimberly Van Der Beek is thanking fans for all the love after she and her husband James revealed they suffered a miscarriage.

The 37-year-old actress took to her Instagram story speak out about the unfortunate situation and James‘ elimination from Dancing With The Stars.

“Thank you everyone for all the love…In 48 hours we lost our baby, a boy, and I almost lost my life, which is not a story that has been told. But at some point I can dig into the details about what happened in the emergency room,” Kimberly explained.

She added, “And James got eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. I’m pretty shocked. It is worth noting that Ally [Brooke] is a beautiful dancer and we love her…and she tried to giver her spot to James, she tried quitting the show. Little angel!”

Our thoughts continue to be with Kimberly and James during this difficult time.

James Van Der Beek has revealed the devastating news that he and his wife Kimberly have lost the child that they were expecting.

The 42-year-old actor and Kimberly shared their pregnancy news just last month. He tearfully opened up about the tragic news on Dancing With the Stars on Monday night (November 18).

James said that he didn’t think he’d be able to dance tonight, but Kimberly wanted him to perform.

“My wife Kimberly and I went through every expecting parents’ worst nightmare. We lost a baby. The little soul we had expected to welcome into our family took a shortcut to whatever lies beyond,” James said in the package before his second dance. “You never know why these things happen. That’s what I’ve been telling my kids. All you know is that it brings you closer together. It break you open. It opens up your heart. It deepens your appreciation. It makes you more human. I really didn’t think I’d be dancing tonight, but Kimberly from her hospital bed, said to me, ‘I am not done watching you dance.’ Kimberly, I love you.”

James, who has said he doesn’t believe in the word “miscarriage,” is the father of five children with Kimberly.

“We’re dancing to ‘Take Me to Church’ by Hozier, which is all about human connection that is so strong that it’s out of control, that it’s scary, that it rocks your soul. And that song is taking on a whole new meaning for me. When words fail, you sing. When there are no words, you dance. And that’s what I’m going to do. Kimberly, I’m dancing for you, I’m dancing for us,” he added.

Ashlee and guests gathered to toast home Zoe‘s decor collections for Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen, which includes pieces for the nursery, playroom, bedroom and giftables – Zoe‘s first foray into designing for the home.

For each guest in attendance, a crib will be donated to Baby2Baby, a non-profit that provides families in need with essentials for their children, on behalf of Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, and Rachel Zoe.

Earlier in the week, Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross stepped out for Lady Gaga‘s Haus Laboratories Launch Party.
