'Bill & Ted Face the Music' to Be Released On Demand, New Trailer Debuts

With the uncertainty surrounding movie theaters amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Bill and Ted Face the Music is the latest movie that will be released in theaters and on demand.

The new release date for the movie is set for September 1, and a new trailer has also been released along with this news.

Here’s a synopsis for the film: The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter return to reprise their roles in the new film.

Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming third film in the Bill & Ted franchise: “The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. and Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it.”

It continues, “Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.”

Directed by Dean Parisot, the movie also stars Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Jillian Bell, Holland Taylor, Beck Bennett, William Sadler, Hal Landon Jr., and Amy Stoch.

Kristen Schaal and Holland Taylor are joining the cast of Bill & Ted Face The Music!

The actresses were announced as the latest additions to the highly anticipated addition to the Bill & Ted film franchise on Thursday (July 11).

Kristen will play Kelly, a messenger from the future. Holland will play the role of The Great Leader, the most powerful person in the universe – the center of which is San Dimas, California, 700 years in the future.

The cast includes Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves, William Sadler, Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Kid Cudi, Anthony Carrigan, Beck Bennett, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Amy Stoch, Hal Landon Jr. and Jillian Bell.

Keanu Reeves Joins His 'Toy Story 4' Co-Stars at L.A. Premiere!

Keanu Reeves walks the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie Toy Story 4 on Tuesday (June 11) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The 54-year-old actor joins the beloved Disney/Pixar franchise as Duke Caboom and the early reviews say that he steals the movie!

Vera Farmiga Gets Support from Hubby Renn Hawkey at 'Boundaries' Premiere - Watch Trailer!

Vera Farmiga happily poses alongside her handsome husband Renn Hawkey while arriving at the premiere of her latest film Boundaries held at the American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theatre on Tuesday (June 19) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old actress was also joined at the event by her co-stars Kristen Schaal and her hubby Rich Blomquist, Peter Fonda, Lewis MacDougall and the film’s writer-director Shana Feste.

Synopsis: The more Laura (Farmiga) tries to set boundaries in her life, the faster those lines are crossed. Her 12-year-old son Henry (MacDougall) is in trouble again at school. Her own penchant for adopting stray dogs and cats threatens to overwhelm their Seattle home.
