A new film adaptation of the classic novel Rebecca is heading to Netflix later this year and the first look has been released!

Lily James and Armie Hammer star in the new film from director Ben Wheatley. The psychological thriller is based on Daphne du Maurier‘s beloved 1938 gothic novel.

Alfred Hitchcock previously made a film version of Rebecca, which won the Oscar for Best Picture back in 1941.

Here is the synopsis: After a whirlwind romance in Monte Carlo with handsome widower Maxim de Winter (Hammer), a newly married young woman (James) arrives at Manderley, her new husband’s imposing family estate on a windswept English coast. Naive and inexperienced, she begins to settle into the trappings of her new life, but finds herself battling the shadow of Maxim’s first wife, the elegant and urbane Rebecca, whose haunting legacy is kept alive by Manderley’s sinister housekeeper Mrs. Danvers (Kristin Scott Thomas).

Also starring in the movie are Ann Dowd and Sam Riley, among others. Netflix will release the movie on October 21!

Eddie Redmayne is dapper in a suit while flashing a smile alongside his wife Hannah at the Christian Dior: Designer Of Dreams Opening Dinner Gala held at The V&A on Tuesday (January 29) in London, England.

The 37-year-old actor was also joined by his The Aeronauts co-star Felicity Jones, Olga Kurylenko, Noomi Rapace, Eva Herzigova, Gemma Arterton and her sister Hannah, Kristin Scott Thomas, Count Nikolai Von Bismarck and Vogue editor Edward Enninful at the special gala dinner.

Based on the original Parisian showing, the brand new London exhibit been revised by curator Oriole Cullen – bringing Christian Dior’s obsession with Britain to the forefront with a brand new section.

The Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring Summer 2019 show was a star-studded event today!

Stars including On the Basis of Sex‘s Felicity Jones, If Beale Street Could Talk‘s Kiki Layne, model Karlie Kloss, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan and more posed for photos at they arrived at the show on Monday (January 21) in Paris, France.

Also in attendance were Mia Goth, Kat Graham, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, Kristin Scott Thomas, Eva Herzigova, and Monica Bellucci.
