Cassadee Pope looks over her shoulder while posing on the red carpet at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night (April 7) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The 29-year-old “Take You Home” singer was joined at the awards show by Danielle Bradbery, Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery with wife Gabi, and Maddie & Tae.

Cassadee and Danielle are both previous winners of The Voice, while Scotty won the tenth season of American Idol and Lauren was his runner up.

Danielle was nominated for New Female Artist of the Year, but unfortunately lost out to Ashley McBryde. Lauren will hit the stage as a presenter.

Carrie Underwood is kicking off 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards festivities!

The 36-year-old country music superstar stepped out for the ACM Awards press day on Friday (April 5) in Las Vegas.

She was joined by other country stars including Cassadee Pope, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Scotty McCreery, Jason Aldean, Lauren Alaina and AJ McLean.

That day, it was also revealed that Carrie will be performing at the show alongside This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, who will be singing on live television for the first time.

The duo will be joined by Lauren, Mickey Guyton and Maddie & Tae, as they sing “I’m Standing with You” from Chrissy‘s upcoming movie Breakthrough.

“As an actress, you’re not always taken seriously as a singer. You can’t always cross over, whether it’s drama to comedy or an actress to musician. I can’t even believe it’s happening. I really, really can’t. It’s been a gift on top of a gift. It’s one of those bucket list moments you didn’t think would actually happen. Standing on stage with five incredible women who are brilliant vocalists and artists is beyond thrilling,” Chrissy told The Tennessean.

The Academy Of Country Music Awards airs on April 7th at 8 PM.

Country singer Lauren Alaina has announced that she has split from her fiance Alex Hopkins.

The 24-year-old singer, who was a runner-up on American Idol, wrote a message to her fans on social media to reveal the news.

“We ask for grace, compassion, and respect in this time. I don’t regret a single second with Alex. I wish him the very best. Please do the same,” Lauren wrote along with the official statement.

Here’s the statement: “Over the last several years, you have been so supportive of us through all of our ups and downs, including personal struggles with health and family, and we couldn’t be more grateful. You share your lives with us, and we always want to be open with you in return. We want to let you know that we have decided to call off our engagement. While we still have love for each other, we’ve grown into very different people over the last six years. We are now in a place where we are each looking forward to starting our own fresh, new chapters of our lives. We both love and respect each other and hope you all will do the same. This has not been an easy decision, but we both feel it is the right decision. Thank you always for your love and support.”

Lauren and Alex started dating in July 2012 and got engaged in July 2018.

The 28-year-old country singer looked pretty in a bright purple outfit as she was joined at the event by husband Ryan Hurd and fellow country star Thomas Rhett.

Congratulations are in order for Lauren Alaina and Alex Hopkins!

The 23-year-old country singer and American Idol alum and her longtime boyfriend, also 23, will be tying the knot, as she revealed on Instagram on Saturday (July 21).

“Being yours forever has a nice ‘RING’ to it. #HoppilyEverHopkins @_alex_hopkins,” she captioned a cute photo of the duo kissing as she puts her ring on display. “WE ARE ENGAGED. EEEK. 💍❤️.”

Alex captioned the same pic, “Ladies and gentleman, may I present to you for the first time, the future Mrs. Lauren Hopkins. 📸@jsrandall.”

The two have been dating since 2012 when they were both 17 years old.
