Lauryn Hill Reveals the Reason Why She Never Released a Second Album & It's Shocking

Entertainer Lauryn Hill has just revealed why she never made a full length second album after her wildly popular first album, 1998’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

“The wild thing is no one from my label has ever called me and asked how can we help you make another album, EVER…EVER. Did I say ever? Ever!” Lauryn told Rolling Stone. “With ‘The Miseducation,’ there was no precedent. I was, for the most part, free to explore, experiment and express. After ‘The Miseducation,’ there were scores of tentacled obstructionists, politics, repressing agendas, unrealistic expectations, and saboteurs Everywhere. People had included me in their own narratives of their successes as it pertained to my album, and if this contradicted my experience, I was considered an enemy.”

The album won five Grammy awards and ranked at number 10 on the Rolling Stone list of “500 Greatest Albums.”

Just because Lauryn never released another album doesn’t mean she hasn’t made any music since then! Listen to her latest!
