The stars of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil join forces for the European premiere!

Harris Dickinson, Juno Temple, and David Gyasi stepped out for the event held at Odeon IMAX Waterloo on Wednesday (October 9) in London, England.

They were joined by their co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lesley Manville, Sam Riley, Kae Alexander, Jenn Murray, Fernanda Diniz, and director Joachim Ronning.

Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis was also there to show his support.

Caitriona Balfe and Bryce Dallas Howard hit the black carpet at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and The Hollywood Reporter Party on Saturday night (September 7) during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

The 39-year-old Ford v Ferrari actress and the 38-year-old Dads star celebrated their films among their peers at the event.

Also in attendance were The Giant’s Odessa Young, Frankie’s Isabelle Huppert, Briarpatch’s Rosario Dawson, Sound of Metal’s Riz Ahmed, Sweetness in the Belly’s Kunal Nayyar and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ordinary Love’s Lesley Manville and It Chapter Two’s Isaiah Mustafa.

Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning star in the new trailer for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil!

The film is the follow-up to the 2014 smash hit movie, with the two stars reprising their roses as Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively.

The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

In the movie, Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies and dark new forces at play.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil hits theaters nationwide on October 18.

The new teaser trailer for the upcoming Angelina Jolie film Maleficent: Mistress of Evil has arrived!

Angelina and co-star Elle Fanning are reprising their roles as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively. Joining them in the cast are Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville.

The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will hit theaters nationwide on October 18.

Olivia Colman keeps it chic and sophisticated in a suit while attending the 2019 Up Next Gala held at The National Theatre on Tuesday (March 5) in London, England.

The 45-year-old Oscar winner was joined at the event by Cate Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton, as well as Camping‘s David Tennant, The Hour‘s Romola Garai and Phantom Thread‘s Lesley Manville.

The gala was held to help raise funds to support inspirational work in and with communities across the UK.

This is Olivia‘s first official appearance since taking home Best Actress for her role in The Favourite at the 2019 Oscars.

Laurie Metcalf shimmers on the red carpet as she arrives at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

The 62-year-old actress went pretty in a baby pink gown while being joined on the red carpet by fellow actress and nominee Lesley Manville.

Both actresses are nominated for Best Supporting Actress tonight – Laurie for her role in Lady Bird and Lesley for her role in Phantom Thread.

Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino has confirmed there’s a possibility to turn his Oscar-nominated film into a series of films that deal with the AIDS crisis.

“I think it’s going to be a very relevant part of the story. I think Elio [Timothee Chalamet] will be a cinephile, and I’d like him to be in a movie theater watching Paul Vecchiali‘s Once More,” Luca recently expressed (via THR) – a 1988 film about a man who falls in love with a man after he leaves his wife, which was the first French movie to deal with AIDS.

“That could be the first scene [in the sequel],” Luca continued. “The novel has 40 pages at the end that goes through the next 20 years of the lives of Elio and Oliver, so there is some sort of indication through the intention of author Andre Aciman that the story can continue.”

“In my opinion, Call Me can be the first chapter of the chronicles of the life of these people that we met in this movie,” Luca added. “And if the first one is a story of coming of age and becoming a young man, maybe the next chapter will be, what is the position of the young man in the world, what does he want – and what is left a few years later of such an emotional punch that made him who he is?”
