Leslie Jones stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (August 8) and made a big special announcement!

The 51-year-old Saturday Night Live star revealed she’s working on her own Netflix stand-up comedy special. The hour-long special will premiere on Netflix in 2020.

“Y’all get to see what I really do: I am a stand up comic. It’s fun to be the actress and all this other stuff, but I am a stand-up, hardcore.” Leslie told Jimmy, adding that it would be recorded in Washington, D.C and that President Donald Trump is “banned” from the show.

“I don’t have a title yet, I’m playing with titles,” Leslie later continued. “The material is so close to me – I’m telling you guys, it’s going to be so good like oh my goodness, I can’t wait!”

Leslie Jones also talked about her time as a college DJ, getting no support from her family on her comedy career, her many jobs, and her latest film Angry Birds 2.

Vanessa Hudgens chats with comedian Leslie Jones as she co-hosts Live! with Kelly and Ryan on Thursday (August 8) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress joined Ryan Seacrest on the show and they also interviewed Whitney Cummings on the episode.

Vanessa also told a story earlier in the program about boyfriend Austin Butler being cast as Elvis in the upcoming Baz Luhrmann biopic.

It’s no secret that Leslie Jones is a major Game of Thrones superfan, and with Kit Harington as Saturday Night Live‘s host this week, she had something big in store!

In the new SNL promos, Leslie forces Kit to recreate some famous Game of Thrones scenes, including Cersei’s famous season five walk of shame moment, originally carried out by Lena Headey.

At another point, Leslie can be seen donning a Daenerys Targaryen wig.

Jennifer Lopez is challenging celebs to take on her no sugar, no carbs challenge, and Michael Strahan is one of the celebs to accept.

Well, Michael challenged SNL‘s Leslie Jones to do the challenge with him and she had a few hilarious responses to the tough diet!

First, Leslie responded directly to Michael, writing, “F*ck naw!! And can I the have the donuts you was eating. I’m 51 sugar is my friend.”

Then, when JLo responded to Michael writing, “.@michaelstrahan let’s get it!!!!,” Leslie then responded directly to Jennifer with her thoughts on the eating regimen.

“Guuuuurl I will watch your movies and show and even shake my ass to your music but you not getting my sugar. I will quit you @JLo lol stay away from my cake!!!”

Leslie Jones is not supporting the new Ghostbusters movie.

After it was announced that Jason Reitman would be directing the continuation of the 1984 sequel, the 51-year-old Saturday Night Live star took to Twitter to reveal how insulted she feels about the new movie.

“So insulting. Like fuck us,” Leslie tweeted. “We dint [sec] count. It’s like something trump would do. (Trump voice) ‘Gonna redo ghostbusteeeeers, better with men, will be huge. Those women ain’t ghostbusteeeeers’ ugh so annoying. Such a dick move. And I don’t give fuck I’m saying something!!”

Leslie starred alongside Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon in the female-led Ghostbusters reboot that was released in 2016.

Jason‘s Ghostbusters is set to hit theaters in 2020.

Ouch! Chrissy Teigen almost had her eye poked out live on television while hosting a New Year’s Eve special in Times Square on Monday night (December 31) in New York City.

Right after the clock struck midnight on January 1, Chrissy went in for a hug with Leslie Jones and the SNL star’s umbrella struck her in the face.

A fan posted the video on Twitter and said, “Oh no @chrissyteigen I hope you’re ok!!! Happy New Year!!!” Chrissy replied and said, “I’m okay!”

Glad to know she didn’t get hurt!
