It looks like Katy Perry is in full Halloween mode!

The 34-year-old superstar singer was seen in New York City on Tuesday (October 30) just before Halloween and seemingly having some fun. Katy is currently in town with her fellow American Idol judges, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, where they were seen heading to ABC Studios together earlier in the day.

It’s unclear if this costume was just for fun or if it will be shown on the upcoming season of American Idol! Stay tuned!

Here is what the father-daughter duo had to share with the mag:

Lionel on his wishes for his children: “I wish for my kids to discover who they are and explore their passions to the fullest.”

Nicole on her similarity to her dad: “My dad and I will do anything for a laugh. If that means we’re the butt of the joke, so be it. In a nutshell, we’re desperate show ponies.”

FYI: Lionel is wearing a Tom Ford blouson, turtleneck, pants, and boots. Nicole is wearing a Tom Ford dress and shoes.

Lionel Richie hits the stage to open the show with a performance of “All Night Long” during the American Idol season finale on Monday (May 21) in Los Angeles.

The 68-year-old entertainer was joined by the season’s Top 10 contestants to perform the classic song.

American Idol is coming back with another season!

The long-running singing competition, which was rebooted in 2018 on ABC, will return for another season, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Friday (May 4).

The renewal includes deals with current judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie and host Ryan Seacrest.

The show’s current season saw its highest viewership since the premiere episode during its first live episode earlier in the week.

“We knew that American Idol on ABC would unleash an opportunity for singers from all walks of life to realize their dreams and that these incredible contestants would have America rooting for their success. I am thrilled that Katy, Luke, Lionel and Ryan will be back to once again embark on this Idol journey with us to discover the next crop of inspiring talent,” said ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey.

Lionel Richie hit Jimmy Kimmel‘s couch on Monday night (March 12) and talked all about his new role as judge on American Idol!

The 68-year-old musician revealed that he’s having “so much fun” but that his fellow Idol judges Katy Perry and Luke Bryan are “two insane people” who regularly enjoy to prank him any chance they get.

On the most recent episode, Lionel‘s been a victim of a whoopie cushion on set and a staged fall by Katy.

The reboot of American Idol premieres tonight (March 11) on ABC and you might be curious to know how much money the new judges are making as their salaries have been a big topic of conversation!

Katy Perry was the first person who signed on for the new season of the hit series and she reportedly is earning a massive $25 million for the cycle.

The huge salary for Katy was a big story as ABC originally had intended to keep the budget for the Idol reboot low, according to some reports.

Ryan Seacrest signed on next to host the season, as he has done for the previous 15 seasons on Fox, and he’s reportedly going to make $12 million.

The budgets were already pretty tapped out at this point and there are reports that the producers wanted to find two more judges at very low salaries. They ended up hiring country singer Luke Bryan and legendary artist Lionel Richie, who are both making around $7 million, according to Page Six.
