The Live in Front of a Studio Audience holiday special just aired and the Good Times portion featuring a live performance from Patti LaBelle and Anthony Anderson!

The two stars united to perform the “Good Times” theme song in front of the live studio audience on Wednesday (December 18) at a studio in Los Angeles.

A star-studded cast recreated an episode of the classic sitcom from the 1970s. You can see photos of Viola Davis, Andre Braugher, Tiffany Haddish, and more in the gallery.

Patti was one of the contestants on The Masked Singer this season and somehow didn’t make it to the finals!

The second edition of the Emmy-winning special Live in Front of a Studio Audience will be airing live on ABC tonight and here’s the full cast list!

Classic episodes of the sitcoms All in the Family and Good Times will be recreated by all-star casts and Jimmy Kimmel and Norman Lear, the creator of the shows, will be hosting the evening.

Jimmy and Norman are producing the live event alongside Will Ferrell, Justin Theroux, and Kerry Washington. Earlier this year, the first installment of the series earned the Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live).

10.4 million viewers tuned in for the first special back in May 2019 and it was a big hit for ABC.

ABC has announced the star-studded cast who will recreate an episode of Good Times for the upcoming Live in Front of a Studio Audience special next week!

The one-night-only event will feature Viola Davis and Andre Braugher as Florida Evans and James Evans, Jay Pharoah as J.J Evans, Asante Blackk as Michael Evans, Corinne Foxx as Thelma Evans, and Tiffany Haddish recreating the role of Willona Woods.

When They See Us actor Jharrel Jerome is also joining the cast while Anthony Anderson and Patti LaBelle will perform the theme song live.

An episode of All in the Family will also be part of the special and the cast of that episode has been announced.

Kevin Bacon and Jesse Eisenberg have join the star-studded cast of ABC’s All in the Family!

The two actors along with Justina Machado have joined the Live in Front of a Studio Audience special, Hollywood Reporter reports.

Kevin, Jesse, and Justina will be joining returning stars Woody Harrelson (Archie), Marisa Tomei (Edith), Ellie Kemper (Gloria) and Ike Barinholtz (Meathead) when the All in the Family special airs on Wednesday, December 18 on ABC.

Kevin, Jesse, and Justina‘s roles are being kept under wraps right now.

Last year, ABC paired All in the Family with The Jeffersons for a TV special. This year, ABC has decided to switch out The Jeffersons for an episode of Good Times.

As of right now, the cast of Good Times has not been announced. Stay tuned!

Live in Front of a Studio Audience: All in the Family and Good Times will air on Wednesday, December 18 on ABC at 8pm ET.

ABC’s Emmy-winning special Live in Front of a Studio Audience is returning for a special holiday edition next month with an all-star cast recreating episodes of All in the Family and Good Times.

Norman Lear, Jimmy Kimmel, Will Ferrell, Justin Theroux, and Brent Miller are returning as executive producers on the project and Kerry Washington has joined the producing team as well. She appeared in The Jeffersons portion of the original special in the spring.

Woody Harrelson and Marisa Tomei starred as Archie and Edith Bunker in the original special, but ABC has not yet announced if they will be returning.

“Being a part of Norman Lear’s world was a career highlight; and working with great actors on these great shows was so much fun, we couldn’t resist tackling a holiday episode of All in the Family and one of my favorites, Good Times,” Jimmy said in a statement.

Norman added, “I don’t know which is greater – bringing back Good Times or co-hosting with Jimmy Kimmel?”

The Live in Front of a Studio Audience special will air on Wednesday, December 18 on ABC.

Woody Harrelson and Marisa Tomei are recreating a classic All In The Family TV moment!

The two stars played the part of Archie and Edith Bunker as part of ABC’s Live In Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s All In The Family & The Jeffersons on Wednesday night (May 22).

In the skit, Woody and Marisa recreated the original (hilariously bad!) performance of the All In The Family theme song, “Those Were The Days.”

“The fact that a group of Oscar winners eagerly agreed to play these iconic characters is a testament to the greatness of these shows and their creator, Norman Lear. To be a part of this is a dream come true for me and for everyone involved,” said host Jimmy Kimmel.

Jennifer Hudson made a surprise appearance on ABC’s Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s All in the Family and The Jeffersons special!

The 37-year-old entertainer stopped by the special to perform The Jeffersons theme song “Movin’ On Up” for the live audience and viewers at home.

Jen performed the theme song with a trio of gospel singers backing her up.

Jen showed off her killer legs in a 1970s-inspired gold, wrap dress, hoop earrings, and an afro for her performance.
