Katy Perry gave us two fierce looks during the season finale of American Idol!

The 36-year-old singer was joined on stage by fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie during the finale on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

All three of the judges took to the stage to perform duets with contestants during the final show of the season.

Katy did a duet of her song “Thinking of You” with contestant Hunter Metts, Luke performed the Bon Jovi song “Livin’ on a Prayer” with contestant Casey Bishop, and Lionel sang “One World” with the Top 8 contestants.

The winner of the season was crowned at the end of the night after tons of amazing performances. The evening featured a whopping 22 performances overall and there were so many great celebrity guests!

The judges from American Idol are breaking their silence on the controversy surrounding contestant Caleb Kennedy‘s abrupt exit from the show last week.

If you missed it, the 16-year-old singer was cut from the competition after a video surfaced of him sitting next to someone in a Ku Klux Klan-style white hood.

Just hours after the video went viral, Caleb announced that he would be leaving the show and taking a break from social media to better himself.

Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Celine Dion are officially headed to Las Vegas to perform in mini-residencies at the Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas.

The 5,000 seat theater will welcome the artists for month-long residencies beginning later this year into early 2022.

Luke Bryan was not a fan of Katy Perry‘s leg hair that was showing on last night’s American Idol, and she went ahead and showed everyone what he was actually referring to.

“I know you’re a mom and everything, but we gotta do something about this leg hair,” Luke said, which Katy filmed and posted on her Instagram Story.

Luke Bryan is opening up about that fatherhood mix up involving Maren Morris and her husband, Ryan Hurd.

During his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 44-year-old American Idol judge revealed that his own mother called him about it.

“So, I’m having coffee, and my mother calls me and she goes, ‘I’m sitting here reading some gossip thing … It says you fathered Maren Morris’ child,’” he recalled of his mom telling him about the mix up.

Luke went on, replying to her that “‘Oh my gosh. I do not need this today’” before he texted Maren, who actually wrote his new song, “Waves”

“‘Buddy, I think we need to talk’,” he texted to her.

Luke then confirmed again that he is “not the father. We can call Maury Povich or however y’all want to go about it.”

Luke Bryan has announced that he is going on tour this summer!

The 44-year-old country singer, who just won the ACM Award for Entertainer of the Year, will be launching the Proud to Be Right Here Tour in July.

“There is nothing more gratifying about writing and recording music than getting to play it live for the fans. There’s several songs off my new album that I’ve never performed live” Luke said in a statement. “I can’t believe this moment is nearly here when we get to hop on the tour bus and roll into towns across America and get back to doing what we do best. What we live to do!”

The tour will kick off on July 8 in Syracuse, N.Y. and he’ll be on the road until mid-October. Luke will be joined on tour by supporting acts Dylan Scott, Runaway June, Caylee Hammack, and DJ Rock.

New concert dates on the schedule will be available for presale to Luke’s fan club, the Nut House, on Tuesday, April 27 and on sale to the public beginning Friday, April 30 at 10AM local time. Tickets previously purchased will be honored on the newly reschedule dates as indicated below with an asterisk.

Maren Morris is reacting to a news outlet’s mistaken claim that Luke Bryan is the father of her son Hayes.

The 31-year-old country singer is currently on vacation in Mexico with husband Ryan Hurd and some photos from the trip were shared by British outlet The Sun.

The person who wrote the article likely just had a big oops moment when they wrote that Maren “gave birth to her first child with husband Luke Bryan in March 2020.”
