Luke Prokop has come out as gay.
The 19-year-old hockey player, who is a prospect for the Nashville Predators team, revealed the news in an Instagram post on Monday (July 19).
“It has been quite the journey to get to this point in my life, but I could not be happier with my decision to come out,” Luke wrote.
