Maddie Hasson is opening up to fans about her sexuality.

The 26-year-old actress, best known for starring in Freeform’s show Twisted and the YouTube original series Impulse, came out as bisexual in a new Instagram post.

Maddie participated in the trend where people ask followers to suggest they “post a photo of” something. A fan asked the actress to share a “photo with gay/bi vibe.”

In response to the request, Maddie shared a selfie and captioned it, “Hi, I’m bi and proud!”

Next up on Maddie‘s film slate is the horror movie Malignant, which is expected to be released by Warner Bros. in 2021. If it does hit theaters this year, the studio will likely debut the film simultaneously on the streaming service HBO Max.

Maddie Hasson gives us a classy retro vibe in a lilac ensemble as she arrives at the season two premiere of her YouTube Original series, Impulse, held at the San Vicente Bungalows on Tuesday night (October 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 24-year-old actress met up with her cast mates, including Missi Pyle, Eric Ladin, Matt Gordon, Craig Arnold, Sarah Desjardins, Callum Keith Rennie, Enuka Okuma, Daniel Maslany, and Tanner Stine.

The cast was also joined by Tatiana Maslany, Chloe Bennet, Jonathan Bennett, and Jamie Chung at the premiere party.

Impulse centers on Henry Coles (Hasson), a rebellious 17-year-old girl who has always felt different from her peers and longs to escape from her seemingly quaint small town.

During a traumatic event, Henry discovers she has the extraordinary ability to teleport, and her newfound power confirms Henry’s conviction that she really was different from everybody else — but it now makes her the focus of those who want to control her.

Season two of the show is out now on YouTube.

Maddie Hasson wraps her arms around husband Julian Brink at the after party following a screening of her new YouTube Red series Impulse on Thursday (June 7) at the Roxy Cinema in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress was also joined by director and executive producer Doug Liman at the event.

Doug says that he reconceived the lead role in the series for Maddie after she auditioned. Producer Susanne Daniels admits that she “never saw anybody else for the role.”

“Casting Maddie defined the tone of the show,” he told THR. “When you get it right with an actor, you can’t imagine the character being any other way.”

A trailer for the upcoming YouTube original series Impulse has been released!

The upcoming series expands on the universe of the 2008 movie Jumper, which starred Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson.

The series is from writer/creator/director Doug Liman, who also directed the movie.

Impulse follows a 16-year-old girl named Henry (Maddie Hasson) who has always felt different from her peers and has longed to escape from her seemingly quaint small town. She soon discovers she has the extraordinary ability to teleport.

The show will launch in late May to early June.
