Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not be returning to Dancing with the Stars as a pro dancer.

The subject came up during his appearance on The Real, when one of the co-hosts, Loni Love, noted that she missed him on the show.

“I have a sibling that looks just like me, does the same stuff, and says similar things,” the 38-year-old pro dancer said, referring to his brother Val Chmerkovskiy.

“I’m a dad, I’m a husband…your chemistry changes when you have a child, things look different, they seem different,” he continued.

Maks is married to fellow dancer Peta Murgatroyd and they have a 20-month-old son named Shai.

Maks last appeared on the show last year while partnered with Vanessa Lachey. He won one time, while partnered with Meryl Davis for season 18.

Face Forward‘s mission is to provide “emotional support and reconstructive surgery for women, children, and men who have been victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, or any cruel and criminal acts.”

Julianne Hough is the lady in white as she hits the red carpet at the 2018 Industry Dance Awards held at the Avalon Hollywood on Wednesday (August 15) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old entertainer was joined at the event by Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his wife Peta Murgatroyd, Stephen “tWitch” Boss and his wife Allison Holker, Jenna Johnson and her fiance Val Chmerkovskiy, Tina Landon, Paula Abdul, Travis Wall, Sharna Burgess and JoJo Siwa.

Julianne was at the event to present her friend, choreographer Kyle Hanagami, with an award.

The Industry Dance Awards & Cancer Benefit Show is an annual event that brings the global dance community together in celebration of creativity, industry innovation, and the fight against cancer.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy has revealed that he and wife Peta Murgatroyd got married days before walking down the aisle for their fairytale wedding!

The Dancing With the Stars couple tied the knot in a small city hall ceremony and Maks shared a video on his Instagram account to mark his one-year anniversary.

“Before we did it in front of 300🤵🏻👰🏼,” Maks wrote. “This was one of the most exciting days of my life! Everything felt very festive, I couldn’t take my eyes off my future wife the whole ride to the City Hall and it was is if New York City herself was marrying us.”

“I can’t believe it’s been a year. I still can’t believe you chose me. I can’t believe I get to live this dream with you by my side for the rest of my life and I promise to earn every second of your love,” he added. “I love you @petamurgatroyd ❤️ Happy anniversary baby.”

Peta added, “Today I married the man I fell in love with so many years ago. I knew he was the one. There was something so electric between us that people will still tell me about to this day. I love you @maksimc, this has been an incredible, outrageous year for us! I pray we are this happy for the rest of our lives. You’re everything I knew you were.”

The men of Dancing with the Stars put their hot bodies on display while doing a sexy Santa dance during the finale on Tuesday (November 21) at The Grove in Los Angeles.

There were two ab-baring dances during the night – one that highlighted former contestant Terrell Owens and another that featured former contestant Barbara Corcoran and her sexy shirtless reindeer dancers.

Among the dancing pros who went shirtless included Val Chmerkovskiy, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Artem Chigvintsev, Keo Motsepe, Alan Bersten, Gleb Savchenko, and Sasha Farber.

Vanessa Lachey found herself among a group of zombies during Dancing With the Stars‘ Halloween Night!

The 36-year-old former MTV VJ and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy got a little spooky for their dance on Monday night (October 30) in Los Angeles.

For their unlearned dance, the couple decided to do a Paso doble to “Game of Survival” by Ruelle.

The dancing duo received all scores of eight from the three judges, leaving them with a total of 24 out of 30.

Vanessa Lachey did her best to honor movie musicals during her performance on Dancing With the Stars on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old former MTV VJ stepped up her game this week with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy after some stumbles the week before.

Vanessa and Maks earned 36 out of 40 points, which placed them in a tie for fourth place this week. Their quickstep dance was set to the tune of Megan Hilty‘s “Let’s Be Bad” from the show Smash.

Maks recently chatted with People about the pressure of being on the show. “It’s a tough show,” he said. “And when you’re good enough to make it all the way, you go through that much more stuff. We’re a great couple. We’re doing our best. She’s giving me all the time that she should, and I can’t wait for this Monday to show what we’ve been working on.”
